Dancing

Many people come here and ask questions about dancing.
Allot of men have problems when it comes to dancing and those who do dance, often have allot more fun in clubs etc.

A few things about dancing:
- You dance to have FUN, NOT to impress others.
- Women still associate men who can dance well with men who are good in bed.
- It’s NOT embarrassing to take dance lessons.
- Dancing will make you stand out from the usual crowd of men.

Alright, all dances go with the rhythm of the music. Trough following the Percussion and the baselines you cannot go wrong.

Club Dancing:
Basic:
In usual club music (Hip-Hop, R&B, Trance and Reggeaton) there is a very strong beat which you will simply have to follow.
Most drum patterns are like this: Boom, Boom, Tack! Boom, Boom, Tack! or variations of this.
So the most basic dance you can do is go move to left twice (along with the Boom Boom) and then just raise your shoulder (during the Tack) and then just go back to the right and do the same thing.

Stance:
Also when Club Dancing, a very important thing is to bend your knees slightly. Pretend you’re having sex with a women in doggy style while she is resting her arms on a table and has her legs straightened (this sounds so perverted), the usual stance of the guy during this position would be to stand with his legs spread, knees slightly bend and upper body leaned a little backwards. This is the dance club stance.

Hips:
So when you’re in this sexually suggested stance, why not making some sexually suggestive moves?
What you now do is just move your hips in the rhythm (in circular motions but always ending up in the front as if you are having sex with someone) smoothly.
You can once in a while move your upper body to left of right. This moves looks like as if you leave you feet on the ground and move your body to the side of it. The same circular hip movements are applied here.
You can also for example grab your belt with your left hand and ‘slap’ in the air with your right hand (in the rhythm) like you would slap a girls ass.

Crazy Stuff:
If you have some fun friends who like to do crazy stuff on the dance floor just join them or if you are confident enough you can start it yourself.
-With crazy stuff I mean like making a row and dancing behind each other (“follow the leader, leader!”) and jumping around the dance floor with your crew off crazy-ass friends (or cool people you just met there, because sometimes your friends chicken out).
- Also You can dance for example Merengue on Hip-Hop and having a blast while doing it.
-You can grind the girl (meaning YOU are backing your ass up to her).

Grinding:
Grinding basically means that while dancing, both partners intimate parts are rubbing each other (most famous, ass against penis).
With Grinding you basically do the same as mentioned in the “Hips” section:
Bend your knees slightly (remember most girls are smaller then us and you can’t dance well with your knees straight, it looks awkward) and move your hips in a circular motion while the girl is doing her work (backing her behind up between your legs).
The easiest way to explain this is: “pretend you’re fucking in the rhythm.”
When you get tired of this stance you get just turn the girl around and put your right (or left) leg between their legs and come closely. Now you penis is basically rubbing with her vagina.
Again same rules: “pretend you’re fucking in the rhythm.”

Hands:
What do to do with your hands?
- First of all DO NOT PUT THEM IN YOUR POCKET!
This is kind of strange to explain but this would cover it:
- Pretend your riding a horse and have those ropes in your hand in the rhythm.
- Pretend your painting a wall in the rhythm.
- Clap once in while during the “Tack”
- Raise your hand completely when the DJ request this, don’t give a little insecure half in the air hand.
- When grinding you can put your hands on the girl’s waist or ass.

Breaks:
Allot of songs have breaks, basically a point where all instruments stop playing for a few seconds.
You can often predict breaks because they often give signals to when they will break but if not, you should have listened to the song before!
During the brake you can do allot of stuff for example:
- Completely stop dancing.
- Bend your knees more then usual and just go down.
- Make an exaggerated fucking motion as if you are making one deep penetration (Go forward with your hips all the way and pull your hands backwards all the way).

Face Expression:
Whatever Face Expression you make, do not make that nervous “does anyone notice how lame I dance” look with eyes wide open and scared.
Just make sure others can see you are having a fun time.
You should smile allot, sing along with some songs, or make the exaggerated ‘point face’ (lips forward as if you would kiss and with eyes half-closed).



Partner Dances.
These dances are in my opinion the most fun. Examples are:
- Salsa
- Merengue
- Bachata
- Reggea

The fun part about these dances are:
- Not many guys can dance them
- You can simply ASK a girl to dance this with you (the Old-fashioned way).
- There is less sexual tension so it’s a better ice breaker (you can’t just walk up to a girl and start grinding).
- It’s FUN!

These Latin dances are played everywhere although in some places you will have to search a little for a club where they play this music.

Basic:
It’s hard to learn these basics trough text so I advice you either watch videos on youtube or take lessons.
However, you should start listening to the classics in each genre and learn the rhythm and the brakes etc.

Stance:
Face the girl.
Hold the girl’s right hand with your left hand and put your right hand on her back (upper back or a little lower, don’t go to low because that can create negative sexual tension again).
Once in a while you can make both your hands grab her lower back (not ass) which will make the girl automatically make her put both her arms around your neck. This position is more intimate but limits your ability to make flashy moves.
You’re back must stay straight at all times.

Hips:
The hips do not make a fucking movement this time, they just go left and right in the rhythm.

Crazy Stuff:
Well depending on how good you are, you can for example dance salsa with two males and one female.
Or you can dance with one of your mates and make lots of stupid mistakes (because men don’t often know the girls moves) and laugh about them (it’s not gay if you do it with confidence…)

Grinding:
It’s not adviceable to try to grind a girl during for example merengue unless you have created lots of rapport. The good dancers always seem to know a little move that ends up in a grinding session for a few seconds (Dirty Dancing: Havana Nights), but most people don’t do this.

Hands:
Your hands should be occupied already (see ‘Stance’).

Brakes:
Ah yes the brakes during these songs a very fun. The most used move during a break is just going down and coming back up and grinding a little when you are coming back up.


Face Expressions:
The same rules as with club dancing but with a few changes:
If it’s a romantic song and you are dancing close with the person, make that “I hope this moment will last forever” look.
Most of the other songs you just smile or make a little arrogant face.

Moves:
Well as I said before they are hard to explain but you can learn them from youtube or dancing classes…or watching from others at the clubs, or letting the girl lead you (which is lame, they need to be submissive during the dance but hey, you can let her lead the first few times).
Most moves start with a “break-up” when you let go of her back and grab her left hand with your right hand and move away from each other while still holding hands and smiling at eachother.
Now you can spin the girl, spin yourself and lots more.


Dancefloor Rules:
Some unwritten rules about the dance floor.
- Don’t drink if you are planning to dance a lot. Women will stay away from you.
- Don’t touch girls on their intimate parts unless they start it.
- Don’t stare at the dance floor unless you have so much reputation on the dance floor that people know that when you are not dancing, you are tired.
- You can ask girls to dance. In clubs however, it’s better to say “let’s dance” or “let’s go to the dance floor” instead of “wanna dance with me?”
- In club dances you usually need to have built rapport before attempting to dance.
- In partner dances you can just ask a stranger to dance with you.
- Never ever wonder what others are thinking of you’re dancing skills. Girls love it and guys are jealous…if they don’t like it, they should close their eyes.
- You can tease girls on the dance floor. You can simply walk away after having grinded for awhile (most guys will keep grinding up until the last second) and let her chase you. Go dance with someone else or on your own.
- Don’t dance to exaggerated all the time, people might think you are on XTC…but then again…what the fuck do I care? If they don’t like it, they should close their eyes.
- Whatever mistake you do, don’t make that “I made a mistake face”, always keep that “whatever it was it was not my mistake and even then, we are still having fun”.
- Sweat is a little bit of a turn off for me so I avoid sweating myself. When I start sweating I will go somewhere to cool down and/or change shirts.
- ALWAYS HAVE FUN!

Over the last few months I've seen my dancefloor game in clubs improve significantly, the more fun I have the more girls are attracted to me, the more girls get attracted to me the more fun i have... It's a great vicious cycle!!! :P

What I was wondering is your view on the girls that pretty much intimidate every guy on the dancefloor... You know, the ones that try to dance all 'serious' (sometimes they're piss poor at dancing :lol: ) and usually with one of their friends, doing all this lesbian dancing shit (sorry, I'm terrible at describing these types of girls).

Anyway...
:arrow: Why do you think they do this? To attract guys? To intimidate them? A bit of both as some sort of shit test maybe?

:arrow: What's the best way to deal with them? Ignore them? or treat them like any other girl(s) on the dancefloor (some of them can be quite hot)?

this should help alot of guys out, just move with confidence, the dance floor always shows who's confident or not, honestly sum guys do the most retarded shit, but no1 cares man, be just ahve fun, the confidence will come i guess, but remember just have fun, sounds stupid, but trust me.

another thing, salsa and all those other dances, when i get to that age imma jump at a chance for classes, pick up chicks in class, pick up latin girls at teh club, cant wait, one day i promise

This is an answer to the above question.

Most of the time these women are just teasers...
Just like those women who dress REALLLYYYY hot and slutty and when you approach them they just reject you right away.
They kick on the attention they get from men but don't give them anything back.
The best way to get their attention is to ignore them whilst you are dancing and grinding with all the girls around them which will just make them wonder why they have failed to get you attention so they will put in effort to actually make you notice them.
Then you ignore them a lil' more and once in a while "give in" a bit (push) and then ignore them again (pull)
You make eye contact with them and smile...then walk over to them and make them think you're going to dance with them but you just walk STRAIGHT PAST THEM WITHOUT EVEN LOOKING AT THEM to another target who is standing behind her and grind the shit out of her etc.
These things really fuck up their minds and some girls will get so desperate by you not wanting them they just go into full throttle to have you.

It's a sneaky mindfuck game though and you have to outplay them in it.

In my experience, it's better to pick up girls who are NOT in the salsa scene.
You average blond girls enter YOUR exciting world of latin dance etc and be her GUIDE in this world.
That way she will cling on to you like glue and naturally put you in an alpha position since you're the one leading her and explaining her the do's and don'ts etc.
Don't try to enter THEIR world (go to the salsa scene and try to pick up latin women) but make women enter YOUR world (teach non latin girls and take them out with you)
