Post subject:  A bodylanguage tip: Whatch where you're going!

This is a thing I've found out works great for myself, while walking. Being aware of this has greatly improved my walk. Or greatly reduced the amount of time where my walking is bad. I hope this might work for some of you guys too.

Not the most effective in a club I think, but it definatly works at home, on the street, at work,d in the mall etc.

Whatch where you're going! Look at the things in front of you. Don't study it, but observe it. No darting eyes, just gaze at the stuff in front of you and notice it. Streetsigns, cars, bookshelves, people, women.

Why this works for me:

I guess you all know how it is if you're stressed. Running late in the morning, or busy at work. You run around hardly noticing what's around you. You walked from your bedroom to your bathroom without actually noticing it. When you arrive, you can't remember the "journey". Totally stuck in you're head. Many people walk around in this state most of the day.

When people walk in this state, they tend to stiff up, raise their shoulders, lean slightly forward and use jerky movements. Really bad BL. I see this all the time in my work. The difference between people stuck deep in their head while walking, and those aware of their surroundings. Huge difference in walkingstyle.

Therefor I have trained myself no notice what's around me, being aware of my surroundings. Being aware og this problem also makes it easier no snap out of this state. This pulls me out of my head, slows down and eases up mye bodylanguage/walk alot.

And of course, remember to breathe properly!

Hope this will help som of you stressed out walkers :D

good tip!

I have another, similar one. When you're walking on the street or something, try to walk very confident and 'convincing', and look at the ground just about 10-15 feet before you. You'll notice that people who would normally get in the way are going to open up for you. No kidding, field tested and everything.

Now I don't suggest you walk around like that al day, but it's certainly a good exercise for your BL, confidence, and even social proof (girls will feel your energy if people go out of the way for you)

I didn't invent this myself, it was in a course called 'body language' I had last year.
