| Post subject: | getting rid of a stutter |
i have a slight stutter which is why im quiet most of the time. Its not a noticeable stutter, but i tend to trip over words which causes me to mumble most of the time. anybody got any suggestions to help with this problem? |

Practice. You said you don't talk because you stutter. However, maybe if you talked more you would not stutter/trip over your words. Most likely you do it when you are nervous, correct? Try to become more social and talk to everyone like when you are waiting in line at the grocery store, etc. |

Unless its specific words that you trip over and could practice I would recommend going to a speech therapist. No information you can get over the internet or amount of practice you could do in the mirror would compare to working with a trained professional. |
