| Post subject: | Body language too alpha? |
This school year, I drastically improved my body language and posture. I walk tall, slowly, relaxed, and keep my head held up high. I exude a shit load of confidence. The only thing is that some of my friends have said that it looks like I have too much swagger and it looks like I think I'm the shit. Should I just ignore them and continue my alpha body language or is it possible to go overboard and come across as too confident and even arrogant? |

Being alpha isn't only having a great body language. You should be able to do things that reflect your personallity. If you thinkt the swagger is part of your being, why would you change that?! Changing yourself to fit in is beta beahavior. Remember that. Quote: is it possible to go overboard and come across as too confident and even arrogant?
It depends, I should know more about you to answer this question. Arrogance is partly body language but also verbal communication. hope it helped you out |

If you are putting off your buds, it's probably too much. I'd say you answered your own question. |

I'm not putting them off or anything; they've just commented on my BL. I don't get why some people think it's over-the-top. I just see it as me having perfect posture (thing is, most kids at my school slouch over and have shitty posture). Casthunder, I like what you said about changing yourself and being beta. I'm not gonna be a feeble bitch and let other people dictate the way I run my life. I'm sticking with my walk and if people don't like it, then fuck them. |

Id like to learn how to offend with my body language, that way i can let my mouth do more important things...Seriosuly tho, id say be you. They may just be trying to level things between you guys so you dont stand out too much over them. I mean you dont want you walk/swagger to look like something from a music video or like something you practised in the mirror. At the same time you dont wana be another slouched over mess like most others. Be yourself, if that means haveing good posture forget what others think...do this while still keeping an open mind and still self examining. |

Shit I know exactly where you're coming from. One of my main sticking points is not know where and when to draw the line in C&F. I'll get responses HB: you're an asshole or HB: you're such a dick I tend to take the approach that my frame may be too strong and they are just po'd that I won't comply. |

Sometimes gauging this is tricky..usually thier town and expressions will give it away. Sometimes its legitamate and you need to adjust, more funny less cocky....I tend to take the approach that my frame may be too strong and they are just po'd that I won't comply. Other times they are testing you to see if you will apologize or change. |

Those of you who changed your body language and are taking crap from your buddies, I am wondering how the girls see you now. |

hahaha, perfect point, Apollyon. I've been getting IOIs dropped on me like fucken bombs since I've adopted this alpha body language and overall alpha attitude. Isn't this the only thing that really matters, anyway? I think so.
