I dug up a study that indicates that women use flirty signals in the first 3 minutes to assess a man only and that the early signals do not predict liking. In other words, she signals flirtation to keep the man talking and revealing more about himself. From there, she will either continue to give signals if she likes him, or stop putting out signals altogether, but not right away.

Usually if he spoke too much, and she didn’t like what she heard, she stopped giving signals.

Only did the minutes following the initial 3 minutes, did flirty signals indicate real liking.

The researchers concluded that women use flirtation signals in the early stages to keep the man talking so he reveals more about himself.

So the lesson is obvious, and it’s where you might get your lines crossed. The first 3 minutes of her sexual signals, don’t matter at all. It’s the persistence of signals that matter. It’s why we so often think – how did things go so cold? Well, it’s because she’s tired of listening to you, has enough information, and doesn’t want to listen to you anymore! You put your foot in your mouth!

If you want to learn more, I broke the study down. It's lengthy but I found it interesting enough to really get to the information:

I believe you! I also have found this to be true.

Women often see where you and her are at

sometime during the date.
