I am 57 years old. For the past 10 years my hair has become a lot thinner. Does anybody know a cure from this? |

Look into reducing your DHT levels. Diet is a big factor. So are genetics. http://www.onlyhairloss.com/hairlossprocess.htm |

Welcome to the forum Sniseernescew And don't worry about thinner hair. A friend of my left most of his hair in his twenties. But he always has a girlfriend. I think this is part of the inner game. If you doesn't care about you thinner or grey hair, also woman doesn't care. You can also shave your head - Style was very successful with this. |

Shave it. Bald is a choice, balding is not. |

I agree. It shows that you confront life head on and don't wait for it to have it's way with you. Demonstrates that you are well groomed and care about looking presentable. Baldness is also associated with power, dominance, leadership and strength by many people and cultures.I won't be 23 for another month and a half, but I've been cutting my hair shorter and shorter for the past 3 years and now I buzz it completely off, but don't Bic it. I've been doing this every since I noticed that my hair was thinning when I was 20. If I were to leave it as is, I now have a noticable thinning in the center of my head and that definitely shows in how people treat me, but by shaving it, they tend to give me more space, treat me as if I'm more important and it is also a lot more attractive. I vote shave it off, unless it is only just starting to thin, in which case laser therapy has come a long way and works quite well for a reasonable price to keep your hair. |

you could try mane and tail. I know it sounds like its for horses or something but its not I have a friend whos hair has been thinning over the past few years but since he started to use mane and tail his hair has become noticably thicker. I don't have thinning hair but I also use it once a week just to keep my hair healthy just make sure you get both the shampoo and conditioner. If this doesn't work the best advice I've ever heard for people who have thinning hair is "A Bald head is better then a Balding head because a Bald head is a choice and it'll show women that your confident with yourself while a Balding head shows that your clingy and afraid to let go and afraid of change" and women prefer a bald head over a balding head. hope this was some help |

I have been gracefully balding prematurely since my early twenties. You know what? I get laid a lot more than other guys who don't have my "affliction." It used to bother me somewhat, but as I dated more and more girls I realized that, at least for me, it really doesn't matter to girls nearly as much to guys. Think about it, when girls talk about a guy being ugly, they rarely mention a receding hairline. Yes, they'll talk about how much they LIKE a guy's hair, but they won't talk about how they DISLIKE the lack there of. So my hair isn't my strong suit. It forces me to make everything else about me stand out that much more. One girl did mention it once, and she actually told me flat out that it doesn't matter and then she pointed to my eyes and told me "this is all I see." So I guess I'm a proponent of inner game conquering this sort of thing. Sure, I fantasize sometimes about how much easier pulling HBs would be if I wasn't balding, but honestly my life is pretty good and I can't complain about the cards I've been dealt. And no, I don't shave it, though I may later on when it gets worse. |
