Hey Guys, Need some tips on body language at the bar, club bars are so annoying since you're crowded in like sheep waiting for a drink, how do you display good body language when the only real part of you showing is shoulders up? Only thing I can think of is generic stuff like head up, shoulders back and don't let anyone in your "space" when being pushed about for space at the bar Thanks, Jake |

What would you look like when you are really into a good conversation with one of your friend? What would you look like if you are looking after a hot chick to jump after? If you can answer these questions you probably can have an amazing body language. And one more thing... Look at the people in the bar, you can clearly see who are bored and who aren't. If you have a good sens of social intelligence, you know exactly which you should go first which you shouldn't go first. |

![]() ![]() These two pictures pretty much sum it up. The main points to always keep in mind is that you want to be loose and relaxed with your shoulders upright and slightly tilted backwards. You're hands shouldn't ever cross the halfway point of your body, torso shouldn't always be open and, if you weren't wearing any pants, your junk would always be visible. |

Quote: Hey Guys,
If you'd like you can watch my full alpha video playlist in my signature (the combined hits are now at over 28k hits and over 100 likes).... Sorry for the long intro in the video this first series with that software. It goes over body language on every level. Need some tips on body language at the bar, club bars are so annoying since you're crowded in like sheep waiting for a drink, how do you display good body language when the only real part of you showing is shoulders up? Only thing I can think of is generic stuff like head up, shoulders back and don't let anyone in your "space" when being pushed about for space at the bar Thanks, Jake Also here is an article I wrote on it. On that page is the full video put together as well. Posture is essential Consistency is essential Symmetry is essential Stance should be wide (unless you are a big guy in which case that could be threatening). Comfort in your own skin Wide relaxed shoulders Open body language to make you more approachable Smile -Lots don't agree but early in an interaction it is your most attractive face Eye contact- The person who looks down first is the most submissive - Confident people tend to avoid it Head high Illustrators - They show charisma and take up space Emphasize your masculinity as you move, there is a video that goes over movement in my video series Bring attention to your crotch that isn't ridiculous but certainly masculine When you are sitting down be sure to take up space extending your arms and feet if available I want to re-emphasize GCplayer's point on being relaxed this is very necessary to being confident. Anxious people aren't considered confident, relaxed people who are comfortable in their own skin come across as confident. If you struggle with being relaxed look into meditation, working out, and healthy eating patterns. That should be more than enough to get you started on good body language. I hope that is good enough, if you need more just ask. Peace and Love, Vic |

The problem with replicating the poses in the photos at the bar is that everyone is crammed in every space trying to vie for the barmans attention to be served so being open and relaxed when 6 other people are pushing from behind you to get to that space next to you is difficult Thanks again, Jake |

I do plan to re-shoot it at some point this year. It may take a minute but I'll get it done. This next time I do it, there will be more examples of me performing the actions, along with movie clips, and pictures. Thank you for the feedback, I really appreciate it, can't improve without feedback. When it comes to getting the bartender's attention the easiest way to do it, is to put your forearm on the bar. Wait to make eye contact with them, smile, and say a good genuine "hey man how's it going?" or something like that. Don't put your money on the counter or your card to get their attention, you simply need to make eye contact, get acknowledgement, and create communication, those are the keys to everything. Squaring up your shoulders too directly can get to threatening. I didn't use to know how or why I did it with ease but my friends all use to buy drinks for me simply because I could get drinks the fastest whenever I went to the bar. Your energy and aura needs to be attractive and attract attention, some of that is being friendly reaching out and making eye contact. Peace and Love, Vic |

Thanks, I wrote the big book, 300 pages, a while ago, but life got in the way, now it's all free so enjoy. Got some more stuff planned. The dictionary is going to get a big overhaul over the next few months to be expanded. Just happy to help, hated having such a big unfinished project at the back of my mind for so long |
