| Post subject: | Is my style one of a AFC? |
Just getting into the PUA scene and liking some of the ideas, planning to try a few things on thursday night when i'll be in town and hopefully pluck up the courage to try and approach/open some sets (Have a bit of AA but figure this is more to do with not knowing how to open, as i have approached quite a few times before, and crashed and burnt at the open) Anyway, when i tend to go out, i think i look pretty regular, i try to work hair into something presentable (though thinking of changing the style of this... have a mate who's a barber who may be able to help me with that) and generally i stick to t-shirts and a pair of jeans rather than shirt or anything like that. I generally used to stick to (i say used to stick to as i intend to try and change this) white t-shirts or black t-shirts as a rule, and then blue/dark blue jeans... I dont wear a watch or anything like that either. Anyone got any general pointers relating to this at all, or indeed how to make subtle/big changes for best impact? have had a read around and looks like SPAM my style is pretty much common AFC http://a682.ac-images.myspacecdn.com/im ... a0a4d1.jpg ^ Me before night out with some mates early this year/late last |

you must find what works for you, remember pua isnt about changing who you are, its about being your best self. some things that might help would be the following: get fashion tips from women (not family or friends they wont be honest) just go to like a salon or something and chat it up with the ladies, ask thier opinions on like hairstyle, clothing etc... they love this stuff. the only way to tame the AA beast is to keep on truckin, talk to everyone dont even worry about picking em up at first, just get used to talking to people. im just giving my perspective good luck |

Keep in mind that to be a PUA is to never be like every other guy. Ever. By dressing in a neutral-colored t-shirt and jeans the impression one gives off is that of a cookie-cutter dude, and that there's nothing especially interesting about him. The easiest way to stand out is to accessorize. Get a few cool necklaces, wristbands/watches, belts, belt buckles, etc. and add them to what you already wear. It will make you more noticeable. Also go for a wider variety of colors. bright, vivid colors are much more appealing to the eye than black and white. |

Yep sorry thats what I was trying to convey, not literally changing myself but achieving what i have the potential for. get fashion tips from women (not family or friends they wont be honest) just go to like a salon or something and chat it up with the ladies, ask thier opinions on like hairstyle, clothing etc... they love this stuff. the only way to tame the AA beast is to keep on truckin, talk to everyone dont even worry about picking em up at first, just get used to talking to people. im just giving my perspective good luck Cheers for that though, alot more helpful than you may realise Quote: Keep in mind that to be a PUA is to never be like every other guy. Been browsing for peacocking type stuff but not really seen much to grab my attention, and if it doesnt grab mine, chances are it wont really grab anyone elses. Am off to the Caribbean for new year and christmas so hopefully i'll find something there, which will also have a story to it that way (DHV? - still getting used to these terms)Also go for a wider variety of colors. bright, vivid colors are much more appealing to the eye than black and white. Will give the different coloured shirt thing a shot on thursday and report back on the differnece i find it makes, though alot of it will be down to the concept of PUA, as before i started reading The Game i really had no idea of what to do as an opener, and crashed and burnt and looked for a way out immediately. Shall see how things go Thanks again for the advice |

Your style is very plain. I used to dress similarly ... A plain tshirt and jeans. While that might work if you ooze in confidence, I really got much more confident when I started dressing differently. Wear a blazer, a tie, a necklace, something that sets you apart from the crowd. People will start to see you differently, and in turn, you will start to see yourself differently and lose the tag you gave yourself in the past that had prevented you from having constant success with the ladies. |

Never change who you are, because being different is what gives women a reason to want to be around you. However flashy clothing is always a big bonus cause it draws attention to yourself. There hair is fine, if you want you can add some red or black highlights. Try to stick away from baggy jeans though. The tighter the better, tight pants are one of the only ways men can display sexuality. |
