So far people have been suggesting labels like "Affliction" and "ROAR", I'm looking into those. My plan is to completely redo my avatar, and then sarge like there's no tomorrow; But I digress. What are some good labels you recommend? |

Like mentioned, what is your style? Can you post a picture where you display your style? In addition to Affliction, I like Ed hardy, Christian Audigier, Armani Exchange, and Diesel. Note, these clothes are not cheap, but well worth it imo. |

No offense to the guy who said this, but Ed Hardy and Christian Audigier are really played out now. (They look cool, but too common). If you want high class fashion, I'd go for some Big Pony Series Ralph Lauren Polos, Versance, Armani, Diesel, Dolce and Gabbanna, Burberry for starters. Theres a difference between getting fashion thats in style and fashion that looks cool, you need to decide which your doing. Things like Armani, Versace, (Anything italian) will stay in style for a long time while things like Ralph Lauren will fade. Personally, when I'm looking for nice clothes I get anything thats unique. Be it Christian Audigier, Armani, or some no name label that has a tight design.[/quote] |

I like American Eagle, True Religion, Famous SAS, Affliction, and Deisel. But then again, it all depends on your style. |

i agree with most of the guys which mentioned some very good labels but i would like to mention some labels that should be avoided because they are too common and worn by every fuckin guy out there. 1. Armani Exchange: This is first in my list because every time i go out in a club/lounge 60% of the guys have an AX shirt. 2. american eagle- i just dont like this labels shirts because alot of AFC friends mine wear it, Now it is easy to throw label names such as Versace, Dolce and Gabbanna, and Georgio Armani, yes the brands are very good and classy but they are not is affordable. Yes i would like to wear a shirt that says Versace on it but i dont want to waste $500 in a single shirt instead i can ten other disigner shirts that are just as good. What i wear is mostly Guess($59-$120), DKNY($39-$108), and Calvin Klein shirts For button ups i only wear Celvin Klein and Deisel (yes they are a bit pricey but well worth it) As for jeans I only wear Guess and DKNY. I especially like the DKNY jeans because they are not to expesive and fit me very well. I also have some have many levis, tommy and polo jeans but i never these brands. I also recomend Diesel and True Religion if you can afford them. I will post some pics later on so you guys can critiqe later on. Anyways sry for the spelling i am too tired now. Good luck and stay fresh. |

You live in NYC, it should be expected. Almost everywhere else, including where I live, A|X is a rare sight. I get compliments all the time, because its something you don't see on every other guy.

I have to say I absoulutely love affliction, I do not purchase their pants but their shirts are badass, thing is often now affliction is associated with mma, granted I train mma and all but Im not going for that poser look, just dont grab affliction shirts that consists of ufc fighter names or band names, but the quality is awesome, great fit everything about affliction is great. |

Hey ZeXy - I think a few people have picked up on the obvious point that it has to match you, and your style, but you and your style is a social construct that develops and changes throughout your life. So, if you need a syle revamp, don't be shy to do it. A major factor is the girls you'll be sarging - I go for well dressed or indie dressed girls in their early twenties. Personally, my favorite brand for jeans is Deisel, they've just brought out a great new range but be prepared to spend about £130 for a pair. Girls are visually directed to the lightest part of your clothing/body. I'm 6'4 and have longer legs in comparason to my body than most, so I opt for dark jeans. You might have a huge belly, so might want to opt for a darker top/teshirt. Even though I'm slim, I love to wear a good black t-shirt, allows me to add a few indie accessories and I look slightly dark and indie and I can eaily use openers to indie girls about whether I should get my eyebrow pieced, or get a tatoo, and it's much easier to make fun of/compliment one of their indie accessories, as you are slighlty dark and mysterious like her. But then put a good Amarni watch on and you can open a well-dressed girl, in a way that you'd struggle to if you were too indie...like a lot of peircings and stuff. On a night out, I wear brown shoes, jeans and a shirt(try ted baker)/teeshirt - depending on where I go. Don't feel you always have to wear a shirt to look upmarket - if you're wearing good shoes/jeans and watch/accessory, I personally think a good t-shirt makes you look more relaxed, fun, cool and down to earth. FAVORITES: Diesel, Armarni, Ted Baker, H+M (for plain t-shirts - cheap but look expensive, designer cut/fit) |
