Hey guys after a couple year hiatus from because of my business's growth, I can finally afford the time to hit the scene again. I'm not fat entirely fat (190, 5'10) but I'm not 120 lbs wet, which is what seems to be the in thing now. Even when I have a 6 pack (gym season) I'm just a stalky guy with more broad shoulders and dare I say it, hips. LOL (that felt so gay LOL) Anyway point is, in North America, what retailers have the best fitting trendy sort of clothing that we all usually embrace for our "avatar" for guys with my sort of genetic disposition? In the past I shopped mostly at Guess, AE sometimes GAP for causal stuff. I'm thinking mainly day game on a university campus and club wear. I'm not huge in peacocking mystery style cause that's not in line with my character and approach and it seems disingenuous from someone like me. Anyone have any suggestions? Thanks |

Being a tall and bigger guy 6'2 240 I can sympathize with ya. I have great luck finding stuff for me at Men's Warehouse and Dilliards. Guess, AE, & GAP are that way were they have super skinny sizes. You might have some pretty good luck at Old Navy if you have one around.

I have a problem where my shoulders are pretty broad and my waist is very slim, so I end up with shirts being all baggy around my waist. I usually have to look for slim cuts. The best thing to do is devote some time to finding brands that work for your body shape. Some brands I can wear their shirts, but not their t-shirts and so on. You just won't be able to wear whatever you want. Girls have been dealing with this stuff for ages. |

If you need dress shirts, button downs, or suit and blazers. www.moderntailor.com tailors the clothing to fit you perfectly. As for T shirts you are out of luck. You have to use trial and error until you find the brand of shirts that fit you well. I know that OBEY makes some shirts that are wider in the shoulder area. |

Im a pretty short guy about 5'7" but i have a similar issue in that i have a skinny waist and wider shoulders. Tshirts i dont really care about because they are comfort and chillin clothing. But with button downs, I buy my size and often the shirts are long on the sleeves and really wide elsewhere. I just bring it to a Chinese tailor and they tailor it for you for under $10 a shirt. Its well worth it. If anything, go to a high end clothing store with their own tailor, they can custom tailor clothing to fit your body type, its expensive but amazing quality stuff Good luck bro J Slay |

Not sure about your style, but if you wanna dress nicer (fancier clothing) I'd suggest Express, or Urban Outfitters. If you don't mind paying a bit more for shipping Id check out this online UK fashion website ASOS their stuff is quality. I live in the North west where guys don't dress nice, but i do and it seems to help. Women scan me instead me of scanning them. Best of Luck Otto |

usually i would buy fitted clothing, stores like guess, express and armani exchange have clothes that are FITTED to the body. when i buy like jeans jackets etc at other place eg old navy they are kinda boxed lol like they dont outline your body. i gues fitted is the way to go |

I have the same problem (5'10, broad shoulders, muscular build, but skinny waste). I found the slim sizes at express, jcrew, and banana republic to fit really well. A&F works too, but I have to have the sleeves shortened (which costs $20 a shirt). |
