No matter what I do, my acne just keeps coming back. I shower regularly and use acne face pads but they still come. How do you guys get rid of your acne? Bedrock |

Shower regularly, and I recommend ProActiv. I have good luck with it. You may even want to consult a Dermotologist (skin doctor), I did, and it was well worth it. |

SIGH.. So many misconceptions about Acne.. Let's get a few myths out of the way. What you eat has NO effect on break outs, WHATSOEVER. Exercise, has NO effect on breakouts either. People commonly think, "He has acne, he must not wash his face". AGAIN, not so. There are genetic, hormonal reasons why acne will persist even with the most aggressive SPAM. What CAN help is lots of sleep, when you sleep your body will heal much faster. Do not use ProActiv, I know a dozen people who have tried it and have not heard one good thing about it. Go to your doctor IMMEDIATELY, you need to reduce the chance of scarring. He'll prescribe some anti-biotics, and perhaps a topical cream. Next, schedule an appointment with a dermatologist. (Book an appointment ASAP, their schedule is ALWAYS full) It may take a month to get you in, which is why I suggest going to a doctor first. A dermatologist can better assess what sort of SPAM you need. As a kid I had SEVERE acne, I battled that shit for 6 years and I know every product, SPAM, anti-biotic and so forth. I've been on Accutane for 2 cycles and have undergone post cosmetic surgery to remove scarring. If you have any other questions feel free to ask. |
