Post subject:  Christian Troy from Nip/Tuck Body Language

Has anyone ever realized that Christian Troy from Nip/Tuck pretty much embodies the ideal body language of a PUA.

-Eye Contact
-Shoulders back
-Good posture
-Voice Tonality, etc.

If anyone has any trouble with their body language and has access to a TV I would study this guy.

Nip/Tuck is fuckin inspirational! I want to be Christian Troy and own his orange Lambo!

ive seen every episode. First 2 seasons rock, 3 eventually ends pathetically sillyly and 4 and 5 are ok.

Christian Troy is Julian McMahon I think he used to be a model in Oz (Australia) and grandson of a former prime minister too I think.

ive actually been watching nip/tuck for awhile now but i never looked into how christian is, honestly in the show they dont really show him picking up the women they just show him being an ass and geting the girls (just my opinion). But no doubt if i could get all the girls he gets that would be great....

sorry for bumping up old thread....but i ve been following christian troy's body language closely recently....trying to model it.

it is working...his facial body language is also very good.

of course there are other things such as he's good looking, wears expensive suits, his profession is a DHV.

but even then...i think his body language is smthg which projects it all without even trying.

his speech is very animated...which is a big turn on for women.

haha...and other than that..he claims he has 10" dick..which of course gives him the inner confidence.

What you have to realize is that a lot of characters in shows and movies are modeled after natural Alpha males, and actors are very good at mimicking the body language and mannerisms of true Alpha males for their characters. A good example is Hugh Jackman in Wolverine. A real tough guy right? Well he used to be in musical theater on Broadway. So which is the real him? Neither, he is an actor and he can become anyone he wants.

An acting course could help, but it's not really necessary. Acting classes are to train a person to show a very wide variety of emotions and mannerisms. You don't need to have as wide a range as a trained actor, you simply need to pick up a handful of specific body language ques and mannerisms. Simply becoming aware of your body language is half the battle. There are a ton of body language PUA programs around, anyone of those will help you much more than an acting class. I have the feeling that Alpha behavior will be a foot note in most acting classes.

On the other hand, what acting classes are great for are centering people who are usually more introverted and shy. Doing something that involves performing in front of a crowd, usually helps shy people come out of their shell.
