| Post subject: | Jeans and tie? |
I have been experimenting with my preferred style of dress. I am going on a pub crawl tomorrow and thinking of going with: Bright red solid tie Black semi-dress shirt, top button undone, untucked, sleeves rolled up Pair of jeans Black shoes... Thoughts on jeans with a tie? It's not quite pushing the limit, but I don't see too many dudes out there trying shit like this....which gives me a bit of an edge when sarging if it works. Matter-of-fact I can't find one damn photo of it. I tried it out....it's pimpalicious imho, but you want to get second opinions. |

Ok this style can look great... If you have good looking jeans and black shoes. I suggest buy some casual shoes that are nice and aren't nikes or some shit. Since it seems you are going for a roughed up look with the tie slightly undone and top button as well. Make sure you don't tuck your shirt in or it will look weird. |

Bro please listen to me. Wearing a tie in any situation other than work or something formal is no good. Why where a tie when there is no need? Ties arent cool in any informal situations. Do you want to be a poser? My friends and I always make fun of the dudes who wear a tie out. TRUST ME AND DONT DO IT Wear jeans with a nice plain colored t-shirt and some vans. If your going drinking be casual and comfortable with a small subtle hint of coolness. Chucks or vans always work. |

The idea is not to blend in. how many people wear jeans and plain colored t-shirt?Wear jeans with a nice plain colored t-shirt and some vans. you shouldnt be agreeing to this fellas. Peacocking is very hard to pull off. If you don't look 100% comfortable in what you are wearing then your gonna look like a douche. Only dress that way if you know you can handle the attention it's going to bring. I have been so many places and see dudes all dressed up with fancy weird shit and they look awkward in their clothes. Girls are not going to be attracted to that. Only peacock when you know your the sh*t! This is a lesson you need to learn. Bottom line: most peacockers look like douches hanging out in the corner. I am not discriminating against peacockers but am rather explaining what it takes to pull it off. Bro wear some vans. |

Like how many other people?Bottom line: most peacockers look like douches hanging out in the corner. I am not discriminating against peacockers but am rather explaining what it takes to pull it off. Bro wear some vans. Ties are peacocking without pushing the limits. People won't think your weird for wearing a tie. Generally I think, solid coloured ties are more casual. Also if it were skinny it'd be even more casual. Its a good look to pull of casual formal in a night game situation. You see plenty of people in blazers and vests, why not ties? |

My thoughts exactly- and then to further reinforce this thought even further- I present Neil Strauss, aka Style.

Concur- the more I thought about it the more I thought it was something fresh and pushing the limits without going over the top....I think I may need a skinny tie though, we'll see. When I go sarging Sunday, we'll see how it works out. |

He accessorized with a very contemporary watch. if you're thinking about just putting on the classic version of these items: a simple black shirt, a plain shape very red tie, and maybe some bright jeans, HANG ON A SECOND and post the outfit before going anywhere with it so we can tell if it works please post a pic of the outfit. thanks |
