Ok, so after reading "Brad's Fashion Bible" I of course came to the conclusion that I have no idea what fashion is or how to dress well. Don't even get me started on my current wardrobe....:P So I started searching for a new look, but like I said I don't know the first thing about fashion, so what looks good to me might be very bad for pick ups. Because of that instead of spending hundreds of dollars(money I don't have) on trying out all kinds of setups I was hoping I could pick your brains from time to time guys? K, so I went to some website, checked around abit and here is the first thing I came up with, am I on the right track at least? Would that shirt, jeans and jacket work toghter, are they sexy? What is right and wrong about it, olso what shoes(or sneakers) would you wear with that? Thank you. I would like to go for one of the "sexy stereotype" looks described in the book, I'm just not sure which one to choose.:(

You should dress considering several things.

1. You're own personal style. But this is with a caveat. It should be the BEST of your style. If you're a jeans and t-shirt guy, make it work.

2. Dress for your tribe. The type of women and your targets are always going to respond to your style. I got a whole corporate vampire thing going- so, my tribe is generally women with masters degrees, careers, ect ect who want a guy with a career and goals, but that also offers a little danger and excitement. Almost like I just stepped out of the matrix. My current FB pic is a prime example of this. Email me and Ill send you the link. That said, while I could pick up say....the emo/goth girl, it would be a little more difficult because I am not part of her tribe.

3. You can easily put together a lot of good shit on a budget and if you're really hard up- there is always good vintage shit at 2nd hand stores. Plus since no one else is wearing those clothes it will give you a sense of uniqueness.

Hope this helps.

As for the shortage of money, try to look for second hand shops.

I've recently bought 10 great long sleeve shirts for 30 euros. They were maybe worn once or twice and brands like Tommy Hilfiger, Zara, Springfield, Benetton...

Yeah, well, my personal style sucks. I wanna dress to attract girls, not to wear something I like. If it makes my game easier I'll learn to like it, even if I have to wear a tutu... :P

The only way to dress to get girls and keep them is if it is authentically you. The best of you.

Anything black, grey, white ect ect where a black belt and black shoes. Always match shoes and belt----and watch if you can help it.

Anytime you wear blue, green, red, ect ect wear a brown belt and brown shoes. Find a complimentary color wheel. Most are used for painters, but it works here too...

If you start pushing the limit then go with black shirt, bright red tie...that sort of shit.

Your style depends on you. Find the tribe you are most attracted to and most identify with and then push the limit in that tribe.

Fashion isnt everything but its part.

I mean- you have to have some tastes in music, food, movies, books...ect, I am sensing some inner-game issues as well, it doesn't seem you know yourself very well, and if you don't know yourself, you can't love yourself. The fashion is important, but only on the surface, what really turns women on is what's inside.

I think a lot of guys, and girls out there, are too concerned with wearing the newest season of clothing, and following the fashion in the stores, but as I get the feeling that you see little in the popular stores that take your fancy, much like myself, try looking elsewhere for your clothes.

Defy definitely has a good point with second hand stores, and also charity shops, despite the popular stigma, often have good clothes in that could suit your style. For example, I went in one recently and they had the newest season's football shirts in for £8, instead of excess of £40, so it isn't just all old clothes that end up there.

I also like what M2 is saying, about finding your own style, and making the best of it. There's little use looking like a poster boy model type, if you aren't that kind of a person, and there's little point looking gothic, if you're not into that kind of a scene as that's just being the best of somebody else. It could just be that you're overthinking it though, as quite often a long-sleeve black shirt, and a decent pair of fitted jeans will do the trick in most situation. Vary it with untucked, or tucked in with an exotic belt. It's a pretty versatile outfit that doesn't earmark you as a certain type of guy, and it's not too expensive. Although I wouldn't cheap out on when you get, if you're on a budget, just get an outfit that isn't made of too many pieces, but get good pieces of what you do get.

True, I have no game yet, inner, outter or otherwise. I'm learning. As for my tastes... well, I love computers and my dog. But I don't think a t-shirt with League of legends or some Game Maker pro editing is gonna turn any women on....
LE: Yeah I liked that idea too, and am gonna check the SH shops around. Still I am confused, am I supposed to try to look like a sexy stereotype to get instant attraction(which yeah, I understood is up for me to keep once I open my mouth) from girls like the book says or not? Cause this beeing myself thing hasn't worked out for me so far...

Well- work on the inner game. Women are far more perceptive than us and no matter how good your avatar is she will see through it. And learn some routines.

Gamer or computer guy fashion is easy. Just dress like you're from the future, or like you're the bad boy from the future.

Please don't get any fashion advice from the internet. Different cultures, countries and even cities have different standards for fashion.

I have no clue what's hot in Romania, and neither does anyone else in this topic. Only thing I can suggest is getting a friend (preferably female) with a keen eye for clothes to come shopping with you.

To dress someone you have to know the social environment in which it will be worn, and who's gonna wear it. We know neither.
