| Post subject: | Ideas to boost forum traffic ------------------------------- |
After seeing a graph of this forums user registration decline and usage, i was outright shocked. If this keeps up, this forum will be dead in the next 12 months. Therefore I've created a topic dedicated to suggestions, regarding the improvement of traffic. In other words, post suggestions that will make members come here and use the forum more often... My suggestion is to create a "General" thread (with sub threads) in the forum, which will allow people to post anything non pickup related. This can include favorite movies, tv shows, cars anything... The chat room is simply not filling up that role properly... I think part of the solution is to expand into a forum not just for pickup but for general life things as well. This should eventually generate more revenue and traffic... |

![]() The more people we can get on here from any sort of likes, the better! from new to professional. In the end it benefits us all. The misc section should be switched over to general chat or something.. there is hardly any posts... and calling something miscellaneous isnt inviting at all. Just my 2 cents! I've been trying to get people on here and getting them to post their FR's... its hard to get used to the site layout... the last layout was far less busy! I think women may be key, I've already signed up 3 chicks on here... if we can all pull in at least one each (all senior forum members), to give advice, or just to strut around lol... then thats a incentive for new members right there! Generally...If women like it, men soon follow! |

Why aren't you working on your own forum instead of giving advice on how this forum SHOULD improve. Do it yourself and show us. |

Quote: SHOULD improve.
Kindly refer to the topic at state; "Technical Issues & Suggestions"!I'm simply trying to get people to give suggestions, in order to make this forum a more fun experience for all its members! The more traffic the better for all of us... It has nothing to do with me! But thanks for your comment. |

Honestly we shoudn't be looking at increasing quantity, we should be looking at quality. I could see a 'point' system that you need to reply to at least 10 topics for each topic you post (hypothetical numbers) to be beneficial. People don't search and don't read what is in here they just post the question or topic even though it was debated 3 times per day every day in diferent topics. This way you woudn't post new topics for every whim that you had and it would perhaps give more to those who actually post. |

I can see that many of the "more experienced" PUAs have moved away from the regular pick up methods (MM for example)... Newbies often ask questions about routines and techniques and want an easy answer instead of a philosophical one about what pickup really is. (Yes I know, I am the worst of us all...) But as I said, we should remember that these guys are not ready to grasp the "deep inner secrets" yet. They need to go through the initial phase where they might wanna depend on routines and need a quick easy answer they can understand. This is useful information for them. We got to calibrate our answer depending on who we talk to... Ezo |

Totally agree with u Ezo being a newbie myself I guess maintaining this a helpful forum is about "team work" really..the more you take part in solving other people's questions the more yours will be answered. -Peak |

Impact, I'm glad to see you formulate this suggestion and communicate it a professional manner. I think making the miscellaneous more prominent would help boost traffic. And you are right, the name is not so inviting. |
