Post subject:  Need help starting the gym

Im 19, im about 5 foot 10, weigh around 12 stone and have a tiny bit of podge, not much muscle. I think I have the genetics for working out, I have a very fast metabolism and when i have been the gym half heartedly before only for 2 weeks or so, 3 times a week people have noticed.

I just want some general advice on where to start. I want a good diet and workout regime but i literally have no idea where to look. Theres so much information around the internet contradicting each other on topics such as suppliments and what not. I want to be bigger and more toned (as im sure everyone does). But if you wanna help a bro out, I would appreciate it if you sent me in the right direction. if you know of a website that gives you a specific diet and workout regime I would be very grateful.
Or just general advice. I also have money for protein shake, suppliments etc and access to a good gym :)

If all goes to plan im gonna set a weekly blog up, showing the progression.

Thanks in advance guys.

Chicken breast vegetables whey protein powder once a day. stick to it and you will see gains.. fast food and that sorta stuff dosnt have anything good in it so eat to build muscle

okay u say u want size? what about definition? i have been in the gym since i was 15 and idont mean i am a beast or anything i mean i have heard and seen what works and how well it works as well as seeing what fails and how bad it fails.

now the post about protien is correct but i should say that if ur protien synthesis is slow because of a high metabolism (i can relate) it wont matter how much u eat. i will list some do and do nots in a second but i will also assume u all the info.

now there are three methods to achieving size
1)steroids (i dont recomend)
2)prohormones (some are untested and off the shelf in a few months for something)
3)naturally (slow but most of the time worth it.)

okay first our bodies respond to muscle building and repair quicker if we are healthier. so no drinking no smoking and no drugs. i would also recomend a good multivitamin.

there are natural things u can take to increase muscle repair due to increased testosterone. tribulus, Zinc magnesium aspartate. now increasing red meat in your diet is good idea also that will increase iron levels and increase progess as well.

after a good workout run and get some cardio to get ur blood pumping, i have read studies showing positive and quick results with this.

now remember that mass comes first, and go slow. i have stretch marks on my chest where i got too big too fast. u dont want that. build mass first and then build from that. this means increase your caloric intake and start eating heavier foods. this doesnt mean eat more or eat more frequently. eat pastas and breads drink beers and gain weight. now there are some weight gainers out for sale and they are a good option.

after u get the mass start on sculpting it and making it what u want.
