Post subject:  P90X?

I started P90X on Monday and I'm wondering if it'll give me the results I'm after. Today is day 4. I'm currently at a 41 inch waist and I'm trying to get down to 36. I'm eating healthy, aside from a few small cheats here and there. (No more than one SMALL cheat on my diet a day, though.)
I also want a little bit of a build. Like everyone else, I wanna lose fat and build muscle. Any tips?

If you go through with it, I don't see how it could possibly fail to work.

If you watch your diet and exercise, and it doesn't work, figure out how it doesn't work. Then design a car that doesn't use any gas and make billions.

try to cheat the least possible, or do not cheat at all... P90x insanity hybrid for best results... google p90x insanity hybrid, or go to you tube and type p90x insanity hybrid... that is the best... But i would start p90x then insanity, and then i would do the hybrid, 90% is diet for best results... it works..

P90X is great if you do it properly. I did it with a few buddies, finished it about a month ago. Make sure you follow the nutrition guide for best results. I went from being able to do 10 pull ups to being able to do 23 in a row, 10 pushups to 30 in a row, can do 10 one armed pushups, and my bench went from 130 at the start to 160 at the end.
A buddy of mine dropped from 235 to 202 and is a TANK now.
It's an awesome program, and a great way to start off an exercise routine, but I suggest after the 3 months that you get a gym membership, P90X is a great starting point, but I wouldn't rely solely on it.

I think it's a good idea to hit a bodyweight exercise program very hard for a while before starting a weight training program, for a variety of reasons. One of the main reasons is because it's much easier to get injured with weights. You can build specific muscle strength with weights, without the strength in support muscles and tendons / ligaments-- and then when you make a mistake in form or something, your structure will collapse resulting in injury.

Most people can also get really far just with bodyweight exercises, especially if you haven't done them to any extent before.

I disagree do p90x insanity hybrid, then take a week off and then start it again, that is all you need, forget the gym, i stop for a month, i regret it never again..ohter than p90x insanity hybrid i would try cross fit... nothing else, gym sucks, go to a gym and look at everybody, out of 100 people 2 or 3 look good, and lucky if they are not on roids, go to youtube p90x everybody looks good...

I do think weights are great but if people are getting results like this, who cares?

I'll put in a plug for Coach Sonnon's "Flowfit" and "Prasara flow" though they're more flexibility related.
