I just got an iPod and I need music to get me pumped up at the gym. The music I usually listen to don't motivate me to workout. I realize there have been similliar threads before. Search works bad on this fourm plus they are so many pages back. |

I listen to a variety of music when working out - anywhere from gangster rap to metal to classical. But it does depend on what your musical tastes are. For when doing a lengthy stretch of cardio (40 mins or or) listening to a house/dance/techno album is a good listen, or even a rock n' roll/metal album (from time to time I'll listen to the Motely Crue Greatest Hits album when doing cardio). The idea is have those bumping drums and wailing guitars keep a fast pace. |

I like all types of music. Metal/punk/country/house/techno/pop. But alot of the music I listen to doesn't make me pumped or motivated if anything it makes me chill/relaxed. |

The only guy who has it right is cashsky...you need bass and fast beats. Do not listen to the pussy rock garbage that they are all suggesting. Get the following disturbed songs: Rise, intoxication, awaken, voices, the game, stupify, another way to die, serpentine, prayer, indestructible, inside the fire, criminal, facade, down with the sickness, violence fetish, droppin plates, meaning of life, just stop, ten thousand fists, guarded and hell. Get the mortal kombat theme song, blur song 2, apollo 440 stop the rock Darude sandstorm Deadmau5, skrillex are great too. Wolfgang gartner is another great house artist. Searh for hockey songs or pump up songs on youtube, they will come up. |
