| Post subject: | Workouts for to get six pack abs? |
I am looking for some effective workouts to get six pack abs. There are tons of workouts, tips, guides, videos and stuff available on Internet to get six pack abs, but can't decide which one would be the right way to get fast results. I don't want to use any kind of fat burner supplements. Any tips and advice based on personal experience will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance. |

For one you can do a search this topic has been brought up many times before. Genetics Total amount of body fat complete rest and recovery of all body parts and finally ab training these are the 4 components to having a well defined abdominal core. THERE ARE NO MAGIC MOVES, PILLS, POWDERS, CREAMS OR EQUIPMENT that will get you a well defined abdomianl core. |

You have to understand one thing first before you get abs. You will not have abs, doesn't matter what magic routines you will use, until you have low enough BF%. For most, abs start showing at around 10% BF. Diet has huge impact on that. Im talking from several years of my bodybuilding experience. If you have any question just ask. |

Learn about nutrition. You won't get very far no matter what exercises you do unless you eat right |

Yup, it's all about body weight. If you have very little of it, chances are you'll have some form of six pack even if you don't do abs exercises. The problem is that most workout routines require a bulking phase during which time you can kiss your abs good-bye and say hello to a nice belly. They're still there, of course, and they may be hugely defined, but underneath inches of fat you won't be able to tell without touch. Then comes the cutting phase where you alter your diet and shed the excess fat gained. Speaking of that...I'm curious if anyone has any recommendations about working out WITHOUT going through the bulking/cutting phases. Is that just a given? |

RVAIS has great knowledge, been on here ages. I'm in two minds at the moment, I want to bulk some more, them trim my stomach and love handle area. May continue bulking until march, then start cutting with cardio twice a day 3 days a week. |

Chelios what do you mean by bulking?I'm in two minds at the moment, I want to bulk some more, them trim my stomach and love handle area. May continue bulking until march, then start cutting with cardio twice a day 3 days a week. Fat and Muscle are different cells (tissues). Why bulk? why do soo much cardio? Cardio burns more muscle than fat! Chelios I think if you have a shift in your approach to training you'll see a benfit, Im not saying you'll be at where you want to be overnight (that maybe impossible given other variable factors genetics) but you'll see steady progression until you top out genetically speaking. |

I'm eating quite well, my macro's seem good too. What's your advice then? I workout 3 times a week, mon, weds, friday .. Monday - Shoulders and legs, weds- chest and bicep, friday- back and tri's. |

Of course, I want to add some good mass man! Although I need to stay fit for football (soccer), so really it can't be a heavy eating spree. I'm eating quite well, my macro's seem good too. I may switch to a legs/push/pull routine, a lot of people reccomend it. |

Agree with the other guys here...unless you hit less than 10% BF, your abs will remain hidden. It gets harder as you get older too. Without a doubt, the best practical guide is called "Burn the fat, feed the muscle" by Tom Venuto....follow his advice to the letter |

Do a lot of cardio, as they said to get a lower BF%, dont drink alcohol, cut down on fats, high protein lean meat. And eventually your abs will show, any workout regime helps you get those abs and build the muscle group, 8 minute abs is solid enough, IMO. |
