There is something which realy anoyes me while gaming: sweating.

When I am in a club or a bar, or sometimes even outside when it's 20 degrees with the sun shining, I get realy hot and I need to sweat a lot.
In a club, I am mostly the only one who is visibly sweating. It's very awkward and emberrassing. I don't want people to see me and my clothes all wet and it makes me feel uncomfortable. Some of my most stylish clothes are very warm (for me then. Sometimes only a shirt can make me sweat) and I don't dare to wear it then.

Does someone has advice on this? I hear a lot that it's natural, you're born like it and you can't do anything about it, but isn't there realy a way to keep me from sweating?

I'm not a heavy or fat guy, but I am quite muscular. When doing sports btw, I also sweat alot and more than the others, but then I don't care because it's sport you know.

I absolutely don't feel nervous, I just get pretty warm easily and have a high body temperature, and sweat thus faster. Realy anoying :?

Well the piece to your puzzle is seeing a doctor. Whether it be a psychologist or a psychoanalyst, that's up to you. Because to be very honest it's almost impossible to accurately figure the root of your problem out without proper check up.

I have the same condition, it's called hyperhydrosis. It's where the body produces more sweat than it needs to regulate temperature. I've had it since I was a teenager and it's showing no signs of abating and I'm now 35.

I used to try anti-perspirants but they wouldn't work. In fact they'd make the problem worse because the sweat would force its way out through the glands and wash the white anti-perspirant away until it formed a highly visible scum outlining the border between the wet and dry fabric on my shirt.

What I do now is I wear dark shirts that hide the sweat as best as possible when in a dark club, periodically go to cooler places in the club, occasionally step outside to cool down, keep physical activity to a minimum, and it works reasonably well. For facial sweat there's not much you can do only keep going to the bathroom on a regular basis to dry off. I make sure to wear Axe body spray, the last thing you want is for your sweat to start stinking.

When I go salsa dancing, keeping physical activity to a minimum is obviously not an option. So I start off in a nice black shirt but as the night progresses I change into T-shirts. I bring a towel and three dry T-shirts with me every time I go dancing, plus a small can of Axe body spray.

You can ask your doctor if it's treatable, but when I asked mine about it the best he could do was prescribe some industrial strength anti-perspirant.

One other thing, if you sweat a lot at night you might want to think about applying anti-persirant before going to bed. I've started that now and it saves me a fortune in laundry since I'm not waking up in a pool of sweat every morning.

Hey buddy,

I know exactly what you are going throug. I had the same and its very annoying.

I have tried everything , and nothing worked. Untill i tried ODABAN.

This stuff is amazing! Buy the spray version, and you apply it only at night before going to bed, and dont even try to put it on during the day! And just use normal deoderant during the day.

I would suggest you putting in on before you go to bed for about 3 or 4 days in a row. and after that you can apply it 2 or 3 times a week.

This stuff stops you from sweating! And trust me, it works! You wont regret it.
You can buy it off ebay , or amazon, or from the Odaban website or something.

I'm a 100% possitive that this will work for you! And make sure you post a reply to let us all know the fantastic results you get from this!

I have some problem with always feeling hot (for me it isn't sweating, it's just being hot and uncomfortable).

remember that much body heat escapes from the head and feet. I have thick hair and I know that when I keep my hair long the heat gets trapped. Keep your hair short, maybe have the hairdresser thin it out, and don't wear hats. Same thing with socks. I buy these breathable socks and light shoes and it makes all of the difference. There are nice black breathable socks that can pass muster with fancy clothes. I'd recommend those. And big boots or shoes that just don't breathe should be avoided. There are two kinds of pants - light pants and heavy pants. Buy the pants with thin material. make sure to wear thin, light boxers. No wool undies and trap heat down there.

Drink cold drinks, with ice if possible. Or switch between alcohol and water with ice. You can go to the bathroom and pat some cold water on your neck to cool off. Take lots of breaks outside. It's a great excuse to pull someone outside. "it's getting hot in here, let's step outside and cool off."

Maybe incorporate styles where your sleeves can be rolled up. also, relax. it sounds cheesy, but breathing from the diaphragm helps maintain a normal body temperature.

Yes for me the problem is also my body temperature, which is always realy high and when dancing, cycling, or even entering a warm room, my body temperature rises with the result of sweating.

A month ago I was in this club and while my friends were still there, I went outside for an hour! I was so soacked because of dancing, my shole shirt was wet, realy annoying.

I love summer, but now winter is coming and it´s getting colder, it will cool me more off, and I can now wear slightly more with less chance of sweating.

And yeah I use some tactics too :), but it's more for preventing to be all wet instead of sweating.
