Post subject:  The Gym with a job...

I'm about to start a new job , and I'm worried I'm gonna have to sacrifice the gym, how can I make it work for myself say If i work 9-5?

Really?
Wake up earlier and go... or go after work...
Gyms usually open at 5 and close at 11.
I see plenty of time to workout there.

i can see where your coming from if it may be a demanding job.

For example i used to work in building which required lots of heavy lifting all day, by the time i got in id be ready for bed.

however now i have a desk job which means i still have energy after work and even if you are lagging towards the end of the day, pop a caffine pill or drink an energy drink before you go in and that will give you a little boost :lol:

Well there are a few stuff I do that works for me.
I do it at after work.

1-Find a gym near your work. the nearer the better. if you have to go to it in a car then its a fail.
2-Take your gym bag to work with you.
3-Get your protein and stuff to work, and start preparing yourself before going to the gym. Everyone knows that the last 2 hours of work are almost non productive, so might as well start mentally prepare for it.
4-Finish work and go to the gym immediately.
5-Finish gym, shower and go home.
It has to become a routine.

Luckilly for me , there is a gym in the same building where I work, I go down, workout, then go up to the office and take my stuff then go home.

One option is a no no, going home then gym...after a day at work, its almost impossible to go out after you reach home.
