My grandpa is an old daigo from the south side of Chicago. he has maintained the same weight for over 50 years. What you do is you never eat the full meal, only eat half. This way you get something in you, but your not eating everything on your plate. I started doing this, and with running I've dropped ten pounds in three weeks. Its pretty good stuff. I know it may sound wasteful, but just fill up half your plate then. |

yes you never want to be full. it feels good to be full but you dont need such massive amount of food so that ur stomach sticks out. 3 good size meals or 6 small meals a day is perfectly fine, and don't eat junk food (candy, chips, etc). |

Last year one of my friend who is studying to be a general practitioner did his Health experiment on how much pop influenced weight loss. He gave up pop, and replaced it with water, and to substituted the sweetness with apple juice, and other things. Just cut out a little what you eat, and you'll notice results. |

6 smaller meals are better than 3 big meals. first of all, you are constantly supplying your body with energy and there's less of a chance of going excess. But, there's another reason: If you consume 3 larger meals, you may be taking in more carbs than your body needs at that moment. What does your body do with these extra carbs and sugar? It stores them as fat. Now, if you were to consume 5 or 6 smaller meals, you would be consuming less carbs per meal. However, you are more likely to not consume more carbs than your body needs at that moment. Therefore, your body will not store any (or as much) fat. Although you are eating the same number of carbs at the end of the day, you will be storing less fat! |
