Hey whats up you guys. This is a problem I've been having my whole life. I'm always tired. I've tried sleeping a shitload and that did nothing. I eat 5 times or less a day usually salads, fruits, meat normal stuff. I have shit going for me for motivation. Yup, its just I can't help but get tired real easily. I get reaaaaaaaallllllllyyyyyy tired at parties or around a lot of people. At my job it sucks cause there is always a lot of people. The doctors diagnosed me with depression a couple weeks ago and they wanted to go to therapy and take medicine, I decided not too cause I'm fine now i got my brain working the way it's supposed too and stay away from anything negative(at least try). Is there anyway to bring my energy up, do I just have to give it time, or is it just the chemical imbalance in my head? Thanks Chris |

take a jog every now and again. it'll make you tired at first but in the long run it will not only make you more alert and awake but have a healthier heart too which is always good. try and stick to a bed time...yeah its childish but really does work and helps your body clock. keep running man and you'll notice a change in yourself! well done for beating your depression too man! -teen |

Cocaine or Aderral. Works wonders. But seriously I've had this since I was a teenager, there's nothing you can really consistently do. Some things sometimes work some of the time and other things don't. You've just gotta force yourself to do stuff despite your tiredness. |

A friend of mine at school had the same problem, he would even fall asleep in class on a regular basis. He had an iron deficiency so he had to eat lots of red meat & vegetables with high iron levels. He also had to take pills daily, I forget the name of them. I'm not saying you have this, but I wouldn't be surprised. Go get a blood test done. A couple others things i find help with energy. Try waking up early and getting up out of bed and have a shower as soon as you wake. Try drink a liter of water before you have breakfast - seems to keep you hydrated and your 'head clear'. Doing some sort of exercise in the morning is good as well - running around the block, working out at the gym. Get out in the sun and enjoy the day - vitamin E which you get from the sun helps with depression Avoid eating processed crap which is high in sodium & sugars. Also expect to feel tired after a big meal especially after a big steak or roast. |

this is entirely inaccurate. 'energy drinks or caffeine related anything' fall into this inaccurate category. But seriously I've had this since I was a teenager, there's nothing you can really consistently do. Some things sometimes work some of the time and other things don't. You've just gotta force yourself to do stuff despite your tiredness. get blood work done. given that you sleep correctly (8 hours give or take) you are most likely anemic, which is a lack of iron in the body. lacking iron basically makes the body inefficient at delivering oxygen to your cells, making you tired constantly. other symptoms of iron deficiency, or anemia, include being cold on your fingers, ears, or toes on a regular basis, feeling hungry constantly, or sleeping for long periods of time in which normal people dont. such as over 9 hours a night, or napping during the day when youve had a full nights sleep. my recommendation if you dont want to spend the money for blood work (blood work is the proper way to diagnose your problem), go to your local gnc, get a small bottle of iron pills, and see if the make a difference. they are 3-4$ and take them as directed on the back of the package. you dont need much, but i wouldnt feel good telling you to take a random mg amount i think might be right. just follow the instructions on the back of the bottle. see if that makes a difference after a few days |
