I get these too most of the time I look like I have black eyes most of the time I just get on with it, although I used moisturizer on them before and I think it helped a little (don't get it in your eyes though, ouchy). Also there is that hydrating metal ball thing off hte telly with caffiene etc in it to make your eyes look less tired, it comes in a green bottle and you shoulod be able to find it in amongst makeup.

Iron efficiency.

Eat more pasture fed meat or green veggies + sweet fruit (in the same day, the vitamin c compliments the iron from vegetables).

let me know if this doesnt solve the problem with a month

I was thinking, I do consume a lot of iron (eggs, wholegrains etc) and also have this problem. Might ask doctor next time I see him.

Sorry I havent checked in here for a while guys.

Yes I meant deficiency, thats the source of the problem 9/10 times.

Vitamin/mineral deficiencies often come from habits/foods that *deplete* iron, not from a lack of adequate intake.

Smoking is one of many examples.

Stay away from grains/pills, stick to green veggies and animals that are fed greens.

btw you normally dont get more than 20-25% of whats in a vitamin supplement. Eat whole natural foods.

I agree completely mate. I take multivitamins as a "backup", but it's definitely best to eat whole, natural foods. Why is everyone so obsessed about these "health bars" and "yakult" yogurts and shit when the healthiest thing is just eating real, unprocessed food?

Nothing wrong with rice and beans. Imo you need to vary it up though, add in fruits, vegs (green and otherwise), meats, fish and dairy.

Part of the problem can be genetic. I know of an entire family who have the same sort of look.

One thing that you can do is get a tan. It will make the contrast less obvious. You can even you the 'tan in a can' type products (artificial tan). It will make you look a bit more healthy hopefully.

Well I have multivitamins but I'm a student and don't really have the time, money, nor the inclination to eat, buy, or prepare anything more complex than pasta, sandwiches, protein shakes, and apples.

I used to have that bad. People always thought I had a black eye.

Now Im ridiculously good looking.

Eat a bunch of carrots everyday
Drink close to a gallon of water everyday
eat whole foods for your vitamins, not useless supplements. So lots of raw fruits and veggies
QUIT MASTURBATING
Exercise

Carrots really do help brighten up your eyes.

Have fun being ridiculously good looking
