Hey Guys! I wanted to ask a question: How do you Better your Jaw/ Jawline and make it look chiseled? I started Disliking my jaw from the side and it really effects my self-esteem and confidence, its kind of a complex thing. So what is there to be done? I heard Chewing gum can help Going to gym and losing more body fat getting braces and improving the bone structure |

It's bone. Gum isn't going to help! If you've got a few extra pounds - shed them. It'll define your face more. Apart from that you could grow some stubble, and shave it so as to give your jawline a darker, defined "edge". |

yeah chewing gum isn't going to help. Unfortunately the only thing that is going to help is going to the gym and eating healthy. Stay away from sugars try to stay away from fats Try to keep sodium down (will add water weight and too much is unhealthy as hell) Keep your Carbs down (unless you plan on doing a lot of running) eat lots of fiber (green veggies) eat at least your body weight in grams of protein. For instance I weigh 225 I need to eat at least 225 grams of protein. This helps maintain muscle and protein is harder for the body to break down. It takes about twice the amount of energy to break down protein compared to a carb. This is a hard goal to do. I haven't been able to do it. the reason I say it is because the guys I work out with are pretty buff and that's what they say to do. I actually looked this up and big body builders eat at least 2 grams per pound and they eat like every 3 hours. I eat 1 egg and 1 cup of egg whites and 4 slices of turkey bacon in the morning, 8-ounces of chicken with veggies for lunch and supper. I sometimes throw fish in there instead of chicken. If you get a sweet tooth go for low fat greek yogurt with fruit added. If you like to eat sandwiches get the bread with "no sugars" it's better than the low calorie stuff due to a lot of artificial preservatives. And eat turkey or chicken with them. Or get some smuckers natural peanut butter (this is one of the best one's I have found) and put some honey on it. Makes a tasty little sandwich. |

The answer is simpler than you think. Do facial exercises. Pull faces and clench the muscles in and around your jawline as hard as you can. Think of it like any other exercise. YT Jack lalanne face workouts for some vids, or just use your imagination. |

Bro, you guys are going about it all wrong! You can't do "exercise" to build up your jaw muscles. You have to lose the body fat or you just have to genetically be born with that kind of prominent bone structure. Stay away from fats? Do you want to die? You have no idea what you're saying man. You need them for proper hormone function aka Testosterone. SO, if you cut out fat as much as possible, getting a chiseled jawline won't matter because you your sex drive and erection will be non existent. Just look to eat in a calorie deficit and your body will shed body fat over time, will it create the "chiseled" jaw line, maybe but maybe not, you never know. First lose the body fat, that is really what it is. Quote: yeah chewing gum isn't going to help. Unfortunately the only thing that is going to help is going to the gym and eating healthy.

Hi im new here hence the delay in reply to when this question was originally posted and people are right in that the less fat you have stored in your face the more your jawline will appear BUT one major thing that hasn't been mentioned is testosterone! If you have a weak jawline naturally increasing your testosterone (either naturally with sups or...) levels will actually help build and make the jawline pronounced. Proof is in looking at any pro bodybuilder women. Due to the high levels of testosterone in their body they begin to look like men as their jawlines become more square and chiselled. |

I like how you disagree, but give no advice towards the question....Stay away from fats? Do you want to die? You have no idea what you're saying man. You need them for proper hormone function aka Testosterone. SO, if you cut out fat as much as possible, getting a chiseled jawline won't matter because you your sex drive and erection will be non existent. After re-reading I shouldn't of put "stay away from fats," but you definitely don't want to over do them. There's a reason body builders only eat chicken, fish, turkey.... less fat.... but what is in them is good fat... here's an article that explains it a little better. http://www.muscleandfitness.com/workout ... e-tomorrow Basically eat healthy and exercise. |
