What is the best way for you to get yourself going to exercise? Me I think of how much better I will feel after. And the more I do it the better i feel. If I keep it up, it will get easier and easier. |

I know this sounds dirty with how pua tells you to find another pua or natural whose better then you and learn from him. well I find someone whose at my point and try and get past him, once I do I move to the next. probably a bad way to go but its a good motivation, thats why people train with each other that are usually in the same weight class |

Pain is one of the best motivators for me. I never want to feel the pain of being as fat as I used to be. |

I played football and lacrosse in college, my motivation was to be bigger, stronger, and faster than everyone on my team and the guy across from me. Admittedly that died out after college. But I've started playing again, for fun, and at first I was running circles around the current guys. But they went and recruited some new talent, so I'm getting the itch again, and have been consistent the last few months. I plan on going in this fall (flag football) with the goal of taking on the former NFL guy we play with. I suggest if you can't find the motivation within yourself, join some sort of club, or sports activity that will put you around people that are better than you. Of course this requires the natural motivation to be better than everyone else. I hate being second, and I hate losing, I'm EXTREMELY competitive. |

100 mg of caffeine should put your mind right. 150-200 if you have tolerance built up. |

making goals, workout planed out, health, feeling good...make small goals, when you achieve them, believe me you are going to continue with the goals...once you start, it's hard to stop. |

Setting a long-term goal and breaking it down into bite-size goals that you can accomplish everyday. Each accomplishment naturally motivates you to continue. But it is only human to want to give up during the journey. You just have to tell that negative voice to shut up. When you feel overwhelmed, just give yourself a break that day and know that tomorrow is a new day to tackle your goals. |

For me it is really hard to find motivation. For once I do not care what other people think of my body and I'm happy with myself the way I am. I'm not the kind of girl who is envious of other people bodies so jealousy doesn't work either. As a result, I struggle in the motivation department cause I'm quite content. In my case I've found my motivation to be in the fiction Xena: Warrior Princess. Isn't so much cause of her real physique as it is because of the physical strength of the character. Kinda like Peter Parker isn't very muscular but still strong if you get what I mean. I also do it for my bf since we're the only ones that will see the results. |

I've been working out since my teens and now that's it's in my blood I won't stop. If someone's not motivated I tell them to drive to the gym. Once you're there it's much easier as they're already there and aren't going to not work out and just drive home. Certain Youtube videos are great for motivation also. I like the one with Eric Thomas (the story about the guy who wants to be successful and his mentor tries to drown him and tells him if he wants success as much as he wants to breathe he'll succeed). They have that video with some athletic montages around it and it's some good motivational stuff. |

It's an odd thing. But whenever I give myself permission to NOT go to the gym. I all of a sudden feel motivated. Because I feel like i don't want to be labelled as a quitter and get a fire lit in my ass with the fighter in me. Then it feels like I'm going to the gym because I want to go. Not because its part of my "routine". Not might work for everyone. As someone people would just take advantage of that and sit at home on the couch and eat cheetos. My brain works a little differently I guess _______________________ Stumped for a good opener at the bar?
