hi guys i was just wondering if fat burners do work, im currently 15 stone and i consider myself really overweight. it annoys me on nights out to see my mates get the good girl and me settle for the, well should we say reject. i have been thinking about starting these tablets for a while but im finding it hard to make up my mind. i try my best to get to the gym most days, im not very fit and find it hard to lift heavy weights i usually stick to 12.5 or 15 kg's. i start workouts by running on 8.5 kmph but the most i can get so far is 5 minutes 7 at a push. i had astma when i was younger but i have grown out of it, i dont know if this would have any effects on me now? i really want to become thin and look good, also i have big legs, i find it hard to fit into notmal sized trousers so i always have to go up sizes just to fit them, is there anyways i can cut down my big legs and fat ass? any help on the tablets and weight loss would be a huge help, thank you |

Hi mate, In short the theory behind them is good, but in practice there not too good, they can cause heart attacks, depression, anxiety ect so there not that good for you. For the same effect eat green vegitables such as lettice and spinich, these type of foods are called a thermogen and you will burn kcal's by eating them. Next what I use on my clients (I'm a personal trainer so know my shit about this kinda thing) is a 3 way split: day 1: Long slow duration/ enough for 30 mins-1 hour, if your having trouble at running at 8.5 kph then go slower, this needs to be enough for you to able to keep a convosation. Day 2: Weights, now you wanna aim for endurance to build muscle tissue that will help you burn more kcals, so should be struggleing on the 15 th rep, make sure you have good form thoughout, ask a gym member to help you out if your unsure. Day 3: High intencity interval training- this is the hard day, you need to go all out pushing yourself, so lots of sprints will whole body movements, for example, sprints with burpees, but on the brightside really be creative with it. For now though we just need to get you moving, so go along to a spin and circuit class, and make some gym friends. So to recap, 3 day split, twice a week, eat 250 kcals less and do 250 kcals more, should burn 1-2lb a week, i know what your thinking "on the biggest looser they loose 15lb a week" bad news dude, your not them, they have gentic markers (and spending all day at a health farm helps) that makes them loose weight that quick. And eat your greens, stay away from sugar, i go by the 30% rule, so if it has 100g of carbs and 30g of sugar its fine, if it has 31g then its not, 30% is easy. Other then that the weight should fall off you pretty quickly really it takes time to see results you want but in 2 weeks you should notice a diffrance. Also try eating 6 small meals a day, with a low glycemic index, this should help alot too Anything else give me a shout, hope this helps, Tuck |

Hi Tuck i have purchased grenade fat burners, i was recommended by my friends who are big on the gym and workouts, they said i should cut down on starchy carbs, but im not sure what i should cut down on. i was wondering if you would be able to help me? i just need to know what foods i should cut down on and eat more of. things like meats and veg? also they have recomended a HIT workout, jogging on a tredmill for a minute then sprint for 30 seconds, repeating that 10 - 15 times. also doing weight workouts to build muscle. i started my course of fat burners today and hopefully within two weeks will start to see a difference, i just now need to get my diet right |

Hi mate, if you want i can e-mail you a food diary, right down everything you eat and drink over a week and send it back to me, i can then say where you can improve, at least then its not a full diet more of an improvement, but as i said before look at the back of food and it will say something like: Carbohydrates ----g Of wich are sugars ----g just follow the 30% rule and you should be fine, and only eat whole grain the paleo diet is a good one, but yea pm me your e-mail and ill file over a food diary sheet. Hope this helps, Tuck |
