Post subject:  The Natural Regimen for Hair, Skin, Dandruff, etc.

Hey guys, I've been doing a lot of research lately and been trying different things. I have sebroheicc Dermatitis (chronic dandruff) for years and have tried a couple of different shampoos. In my pursuit of knowledge, I learned that it's more of a manifistation of a deeper problem, whether it's a leaky gut, hormonal imbalance, gluten intolerance, etc. I have been eating whole foods for the last few months only, tried a juice fasting detox for a few days. Wheatgrass Juice is also great for this.

I have been manipulating carbs and sugars intake to see how my body reacts. Keep in mind that not every eating plan works the same for people. I find that high sugar makes my dandruff worst. It could be a sign of Candida overgrowth as well so a candida cleanse may be worth trying just in case. As my health and perfomance improved, I stumbled upon some discussions regarding Curcumin and Resveratrol as a combination to eliminate dandruff and inflamation. It has been working for me pretty well so far. My face is consistently clear for the most part. If I get a few zits, I use apple cider vinegar diluted in water on my face and sometimes my hair to kill any possible bacteria. I also drink a tablespoon in a bottle of water to clean out my gut and I take probiotics to have a healthy gut flora.

My Natural Regimen for Dandruff

Curcumin 95 taken with Natural Resveratrol (don't take high dose, some have reported bone problems a high dose) Supplement.

I have also taken Green pasture Cod Liver Oil which was recommended by a nutritional book I bought recently. I've also seen reports that it has healed acne and dandruff for people. It has Vitamin A, D, K2. EFAs. I take half a table spoon to 1 table spoon every day.

I have also heard of combining Curcumin and Aged garlic Extract for the same affect on hair and skin but I have not personally tried it yet. Just something to look into for fun

Here is a blog I stumbled upon that explains some of these components well and uses published medical data for reference http://www.immortalhair.org/theoryinpractice.htm

I am unsure which of these supplements that I mentioned has been the most helpful for my condition, or if the combination of them is what worked best. You may have to experiment a little. Do your research and see if it might help you as well.

As for what brands to use, just go with trusted companies that carry these supplements. They are relatively cheap and provide deeper benefits then just good skin and hair. I hope this helps.
