Post subject:  Hardgainer in need of help

I've been working since I was 16 (I'm now 18) but I've always been really skinny. I am now really defined and seem to attract a lot of attention from girls when I have my shirt off (e.g on a beach). But when I wear clothes, especially T-shirts, I struggle to fill them out (especially my annoyingly skinny arms). This makes me look weedy in nightclubs and out in the day.

Any advice?

I feel I'm ok in the gym and would love any advice on bulking in terms of diet but if any of you know any good exercises to bulk up arms I'd like to know them too. Thanks for the support

I don't mean to be harsh and hard on you here, but dudes need to stop thinking that looks as far as solid abs(which I have),Brap Pitt face means that it's automatic attraction.

The way you come off in this post is very wrong.

You're basically saying that when your shirt is off:you attract womens' attention. When shirt is on;you don't.That's bullshit! That's your mind telling you that.

Those HB's might've been attracted to your physique, but would that alone get you laid?Hell no!!So get away from this;"I have a perfect body so I can pick up" mentality.

It's true that you don't need to be jacked to pick up beautiful women if your game is tight, but being fit brings other benefits. You usually have more energy (which translates to more sarging) and you usually have better sex due to your strength and cardiovascular improvements. I would say you are more confident but sometimes guys get too obsessive on picture perfect abs which hinders their game and confidence due to that mindset. Depends on the person.

To me, being a hard gainer is a myth. Your metabolism may be fast but you can still eat lots of food to increase your calorie intake. Then do less cardio and more resistance training. I recommend compound lifts for beginners because it teaches you proper form and gives you fast results when you are starting out.

As for bulking, you can either do a clean bulk, have a good beginner's workout plan that involves compound lifts and is tried and true. Please don't go random in the gym as it's a waste of time in comparison to workout plans that have proven results. Once you get good experience and perfect your form, gain more knowledge, etc. Then you can modify your workout for optimum performance to your body. You can also do a regular bulk where you have more choices to eat whatever which includes more cheat meals, however, you will gain fat faster this way. Most bodybuilders bulk up to a size beyond their target and then do a strict cutting phase where they slim down to their desired goal. It's usually faster to do it this way but that depends how big you really want to get.

Do your research, incorporate something that is simple and efficient and just do it. The results will come. Forget about any advanced nutrition and workouts as they will overwhelm you plus they are called advanced for a reason. You gotta go through beginner and intermediate stage first just like pick up. Guys don't go over 9s and 10s when they irst start cause they usually get rejected and just fully give up and claim pua doesnt work. Fitness training is the same. People try some shit they see on magazines and expect big changes very soon, it doesn't happen and they give up and claim it doesn't work...a lesson in life

to be able to put on any weight, you have to be in a caloric surplus. Go figure out how many calories your body needs to maintain your current weight, plenty of sites on the web. Take in 200-500 calories over maintenance level, depending on how fast you want to put on weight. Watch the scaled and look at the mirror.

Sorry man I didn't mean to come across badly. Its just a confidence thing. Like when I walk into a club and a massive rugby player is there with a tight t-shirt and a HB 10 on his arm its kinda intimidating. But thanks for the advice
