I have always loved exercise. It is very liberating. Plus, it makes me more attractive to the opposite sex. I also live better and longer. There are many many benefits to working out at just about any age. My main goals are to educate and record my achievements.

Objectives:

1) Maintain a strong body of smooth muscles, bones, tendons, etc... while reducing my body fat %.
2) Develop further flexibility, endurance and power.
3) Look great naked.
4) Feel awesome and increase the connection between my mind, body, and spirit/soul without the use of "performance enhancers".

I just completed a 10 minute session with Billy Blanks TaeBo Express "Boot Camp Power" workout. I broke a sweat about halfway through. Then I grabbed my 14oz. boxing gloves, flat weight bench and 40 pound dumbbells. I did the following alternating workouts:

- 3 sets of 6 dumbbell flies
- Approximately three 1-1:30 minute rounds with my Wavemaster training bag, boxing gloves on using several boxing punching combos I have learned over the few years.

(maybe later I'll add in some jumprope too)

Then I did a few exercises from a VHS tape I have called "Ki Rhythms for the Martial Artist" by Tae Yun Kim. These are Tai Chi-like exercises that teach you how to calm your mind/body/spirit and focus your Ki energy. I did the Lotus Ki Rhythm and also the Morning Sun Ki Rhythm. These are meant for relaxation, prayer/meditation, and freedom from stress.

I will add more as I further my exercise routines...
