Hey guys, not sure if you have heard of it, but I'm currently working through insanity and really loving it. - Nothing but praise to shout.

If any of you are looking to get into better shape, then seriously consider this. Requires no equipment or a gym membership, you can do it at home. Workouts last about 45 minutes every day with one day rest a week.

Its designed to strip body fat, build muscle... and pretty much get more sexy. It is really crazy though, so you do need to be committed, not for the weak hearted... but lets face it we're PUA's... we can do F*cking anything!

Its a DVD series by beachbody and the instructor Sean T is great at motivating. - they do advertise their stuff at the end of the workout, but my advice would be to completely ignore it. I don't think their actual workout supplements are that great, and are way overpriced.

Anyways, hope this was hopeful,

Peace,
Joey

Whatever gets you moving.

Seriously I am not gonna hate on it, cause its helping you.

P90x helped alot of people, Insanity is helping people, and BeachBodies next workout videos will help people. They will keep making more, and people will spend money.

They're not for everyone.... but definitely not gimmicks. Some can be, but if you research enough about them it can be really helpful.

The bottom line is as Faust23 said its what ever gets you moving. I got really bored of going to the gym and found very little time as I travel a lot. - after doing insanity, I'm the fittest I have ever been, more ripped than ever with good abs.

It focus's not just on 'gettin big', but general health and fitness and personally think it gives a better overall physique once complete. It works all the muscles not just isolation.

Regardless, many ways to to achieving the same goal, I'm just saying I've had good experiences with this one.

You want to get in shape? Don't get some stupid video workout. P90X and Insanity only work if your morbidly out of shape.
The best way is to join a gym. Don't be cheap. You don't wear cheap shit when you game, so why skimp on a gym membership meant for self improvement?
Don't know what to do at a gym? Get a trainer. Everybody benefits from coaching, make sure it's somebody legit and not your juicehead cousin.

I'll post some after pics at some point. Seriously, its really not the way you think it is. I was in the same mindset as you before hand.... thought all video workouts work a wate of money and trashy... I dont know about p90x, but insanity really is very good. All opinions though mate, I respect yours, but you should acknowledge that others have theirs ;)

It makes it so hard when others are wrong though :(

Join a gym benefit or waste money and time

Bahaha,

Personally I would prefer to do my workout at home. No gym membership. Im 6 foot 3", and weigh 200 pounds, got a body fat of about 7-10%. - I'm not looking to build muscle (I did do that in the gym for a good 2-3 years). I use insanity to stay in shape... it works because I'm still lean and look'in fresh :p

Will post some before / after pics for the non believers haha

If you can pick up a set of dumbbells from a yard sale for cheap, there are some great workouts you can do from home that will pack on muscle far better than insanity.
The El Diablo beginner workout is pretty decent, I did it and got good results from it, and then moved on to the intermediate which has gotten me truly ripped:

LOL. All workout videos are the same: cardio workouts. If a workout does not involve weights (and heavy weights) you will not put on much muscle mass unless you are a genetic freak. Period.
