Post subject:  40 days and 40 nights
Ok, more like 39 days and 39 nights because I already fucked up today, but I'm starting tomorrow and want to log next month and a few days here being completely honest.
I wanna give up alcohol and smoking for the next month or so, not a religious thing, just my thing. I'd like to quit smoking for good, but it has never worked in the past, the longest I went was a year and a half, so now I'm just making it a one month thing and see how that goes, month after month :) Also the goal is to drink much more moderately after this period of abstinence is over.

If anyone else has a habit they wanna break, feel free to join the 39 days experiment.

Just had a cup of coffee, I wanna smoke really really badly. I'll go clean my flat to distract myself and then get into work.

Well, I failed miserably today. Many cigarettes and 1 pint of beer lol.
I'll have a talk with myself tomorrow and see if I'm serious enough about it to start again. I caved in way to easily today. Some stress at work was enough to get me smoking and a social situation was enough to get me drinking even though I managed to stay away yesterday during my band rehersal where everybody drinks and smokes. We'll see. I feel I'm not taking it seriously, even though yesterday I was. Damn, am I so meek? blah. I'll give it one more shot for sure though, a serious one.
