| Post subject: | what do you define "lifestyle" as? |
I was really thinking about this, about what "lifestyle" means. cos, its important. And once you think about it, the more important it becomes. "we are what we repeatedly do" Aristotle I was thinking about this, and about what I repeatedly do. And that is, train. I 5 days if not more am either running and working out or at the boxing gym. So ok, boxing is a part of my lifestyle. Why? well mainly because, I have a goal, to become the best boxer I can be. to commit myself to it fully, and in the end, win fights. so, this part of my lifestyle comes from a goal. Well then, what other goals do I have? of course, to be able to see an attractive woman and consistently attract and close. To have an abundance of hot women, aswell as an abundance of friends and a strong social scene. ok, so what does this mean? It means I (need to start) approaching as many people as possible each day, at least 3 HB''s and always look for times to be social. To try out as many things in life as possible, in order to broaden my social horizon. Bang. Another (future) part of my lifestyle. If I want to sell a screenplay by next year, what does this mean. writing everyday, making contacts etc etc The point im trying to make, is our "lifestyle" or indeed our lives, are just time. An allocated amount of time from birth to death. approx 26000 days or however long mystery said it was How we live these days, our lifestyle, is determined by our goals, and how we use this time to achieve these goals. From here, our own deductions of our self-image comes too. From the lifestyle derived above, one could say they are determined, social, creative etc. of course, I can already see the criticism that this is too results orientated, unnatural, etc. thoughts on what you view lifestyle to be? |
