Post subject:  To Seriously Rebuild, To Start Again (Interesting)

I am going to try and open up and be as honest as I can to get the best answers out of you guys, because I need them.

I am a cocky proud guy, I use to be, before I had my "heart broken" and lost my one itis and been hooked on for 7 months and gotten worse everyday. Confidence shook and lost. Graduated from school and went from hero to zero. Moved away from family, lost football, lost friends, and the girl.

Its life, I know, a part of life is learning how to let go, and I move on from it and rebuild a better me.

I need to know how, I have football in my life and thats my main talent, I consider myself fairly good looking and I take risks (im not ashamed to go up to girls)... but all that is just very brief.

I want to know what to do to get the best girl, to get the best life that others want to live, I want to never question myself and be the best I can be for me

I want to dive into the best parts of this site and put them into practice and use them! I want to do everything you guys suggest to me, I should join the gym but I dont follow out with it because I dont see any improvements over time, I am a skinny tall boy.

Hit me with your best...

My 5 steps to life (pretty much the 5 steps to Engineering)
- Define the problem
- Plan the solution
- Implement
- Evaluate the results
- Adjust/maintain your solution

First you have to identify what caused you to lose your confidence and any other key areas that you lack confidence in. Go into as much detail as you can. The more time and detail you go into here, the easier later steps become. One you know whats wrong, then you can start planning how to fix it. Once again, as much detail as possible as it makes the next step easier.

Implement is where you go about executing your plan. Whether it be sticking to a training schedule at the gym or taking a yoga class, hopefully if you've performed the previous steps in enough detail, you'll notice gradual improvements

Record your progress and evaluate the effectiveness of your plan. Are you achieving what you wanted to achieve? If not work out why. Do you need to adjust your plan or did you not fully define the problem in step 1? Hopefully at this stage you'll be running smoothly, or will only need to make minor adjustments. Evaluating and adjusting are ongoing steps, continuing to do so allows you to be flexible and adjust for any future situations.

Overall, make sure you are happy with yourself as you cant expect someone else to be happy with you if you cant be happy with yourself.

You know that some girls like tall skinny boys right? Why try to be something you are not. Instead you need to learn to be happy with yourself and then everything will fall into place.

Hey man, if you wanna change your life around i would firstly try and see what it is that is exactly making you feeling like this, women, life success, fitness or mental health what ever it is find out and then attempt to build a new life with new experiences, hobbies etc. These things will make you have more fun in life and in the end make you forget about the girl you lost and how amazing your life is now!

So in general don't sit and ponder on how bad life is, get some new goals, activities, jobs and experience life your here once go get it man :) your meet new women via doing this anyways so chin up tell me how it goes. hope this helps

I don't think it's about 'learning' to be happy with yourself. You have to change your behaviors into behaviors you can be happy about.

So that means examining what you're doing right now and asking yourself 'Is this something I can be proud of tomorrow? Will this make me any better off tomorrow than I am today? Is there something I could be doing that would make me better off tomorrow than what I am doing right now?"

I spent years partying / playing video games / watching movies / going to concerts, etc. All fun stuff to do, met a lot of people, had some good times. But at the end of the day, I wasn't building value. Now I tend to look for enjoyment doing things that will build some kind of skills-- Courses at university, karate lessons, dance lessons, cooking, weight training, etc.

What will be fun for you and build value that you can be proud of... you have to answer that yourself.
