im great at talking to girls. im shit at talking to guys. infact most of my social circle is girls. i just dont have the confidence around other guys. im not great at the banter and im quite submissive. it dosnt help that the guys i know i have little in common with (i play sports, they sit on the internet and xbox) but being highschool the social system meens im stuck with them. they are nice people, i just dont see a bonding point. how can i make more male friends? thanks |

Ditch the girls. To them, you're nothing more than a non-threatening nice guy for whom they have no sexual interest, sort of like a "gay best friend." You said you're into sports. That's good. Make friends with the guys you play with. It you're trying to get girls, these are the kinds of guys you want to be associated with: not the Xbox-playing couch potatoes. It might be uncomfortable and a little intimidating at first if you're not used to being around guys, but the interactions will start to come more naturally to you as time goes on. |

im not going to ditch the girls because i find them great for meeting other girls. also i get along with them well. i will talk to males when the option is open however. i know what you meen about meeting new people but i live in a small town and only have 6 months left before i go to uni. i will make friends with the people i train with because they are fun, but i also want to make friends with the people in my social group at school. for no reason other than i want to get higher up the social ladder. like i said uni is coming soon so all i realy want is to do is get better at socialing for when im there |
