| Post subject: | Finding an attractive job |
So I've now had the same job for nearly 3 years now and it's about time I find a new one. I really don't enjoy my job, it's not my cup of tea and it pays terrible. I'm not necessarily looking for a huge pay cheque, just something interesting. As I'm writing this I'm sat in a small office with 6 other people all ALOT older than me. It's not fun to say the least. Basically, in the interest of "building an attractive lifestyle", a job is obviously quite important so I was just wondering what you guys on this forum all do? PS another bad side to this job is that you don't meet too many new people, especially women. |

Well, what job do you want to do? It's not very helpful saying 'what should I do?' -we don't know you |

Apologies, the OP was written in haste. I'm currently a CAD technician. Something I fell into while training to be a mechanical engineer. I've decided that this route/career is just not for me. I'm not really looking for people to tell me what job I should do. That would be impossible without knowing everything about me. I just thought it would be a good idea to get an inside perspective on a range of jobs as I know people on this forum come from a variety of different backgrounds. Jobs you've enjoyed in the past, jobs you've wished you never had, and would be nice to hear if anyone has actually got their dream job. |
