| Post subject: | Lifestyle website, need some writers. |
Hey guys. I need some writers. And to be honnest I don't care where I pick them from. Of course I asked some of my friends and soon I'll be instructing them how to post stuff. But. I could use some more writers. The website is non commercial right now. I pay for the server/domain and made it all myself (open source, template, highly modded etc. It's about LIFESTYE in general. The thing is, items need to: - Be difficult to find. - Have a "ohh cool!" factor. - Be a bit exclusive - Be really cool. - Suggest nice lifestyle items, clubs, music, arts, movies, media etc. So we do not talk about the iPad, it's marketed and a hype. We do talk about stores of some artist making COMPLETELY AWESOME clothes, sell them 2 pieces per shirt in only one store. This is hard to come by and quite unique. These kind of small stores, unknown products and brands need a bit of more exposure. This is what we offer. WE DO NOT say that you need to buy these items. WE SUGGEST these items to you, and the readers can choose their items. That's our approach. ANYWAY: If you can write one article per 2 weeks: that's fine. I don't want to put any pressure on. If you can manage to get free products so you will write for a certain company: you can keep them. Same with free tickets for exclusive bars (guestlist in exchange of a nice article?) etc etc. Also it's a nice DHV if you say you write for a lifestyle online magazine. In the end, that's what it is. And that's the reason I first post this here. I've been adding to the community as much as I can, but I realize I've been gaining from this community massively. So.. first to offer these positions: here. IS POSTING DIFFICULT? Nope. Admin, log in. New post. Type the title, add a picture (from URL or from your pc) make sure it's about 200 pix wide, make it allign left, type type type some (not too much!!) and add an url where they can see the product or website of the venue/artist/movie/game/whatever. Et tada! C'est tout! Also if you think you will contact a lot of people for articles (I just did an interview with some-one from TW Steel) you can have yourname@ourdomain.com Well I think this is enough info. Oh last but not least the website: http://www.idreamto.be Cheers! |

That'd both be great! Travel and parties are for sure a nice topic. I want to stay a bit low on pickup, want to keep it a bit between rare and exclusive. New and refreshing, but nothing too shocking for the big crowd such as pick up. I also had a Polish guy who wanted to join and another local dude who knows a lot about media and music wanted to join. This could work out very well. If you make any "deals" with stores, clubs whatever: keep whatever profit you make out of it. |
