So I came home from my first year of university, looking forward to hang out with old friends and whatnot. But what I also realized is that I had been in the game for about a month now and this summer would be a great opportunity to sarge not only at parties but also to daygame. So, to cut to the chase, I finished reading the game and realized how vital social status is to attract the opposite sex. It's not only in humans, but also in other animal species; women are attracted to what can be changed about us and what our evolutionary importance is to the rest of the social group. Here's the situation: I'm friends with girls in multiple cliques and what you have to realize is that when you tell a girl something, she will tell the other girls in her group. Like she really fucking will tell them. I told three girls (I made sure that they were either alpha females or very close to being alpha females) that I had slept with 5 girls this past school year. I even told a few of my close guy friends this and I shit you not, this started a chain reaction within my contacts. Girls wanted to know more about this, guys wanted to know how I did this. This point was key; it was here that it was either make or break and I made it. I told everyone that I had fucked girls in 3rd and 4th year, had two girls go down on me at the same time, blah blah blah. The important point is that this deception created a social status that led to a whole other story of events. Girls knew what I was doing, so they wanted some. Guys would come to me for advice. I started this whole thing in April. By now, August, I've boinked 6 girls after this little pick-up missile. Ya, I'm not happy with the fact that I had to start the fire with a white lie but it worked. Give me your thoughts on this guys. |

Wait, wait wait. Am I smoking something or isn't that a direct quote from Neil Strauss? You make it seem as if you are talking about yourself o__O I don't quite understand what you are asking in this thread either... are you asking us what our opinion on the weight of social value is?

that was from Neil Strauss, but I thought it would be fun to actually try out and holy shit did it work. My question was that do you guys think it was a good idea to create social value out of a total lie? 'Cause it sure as hell worked. |

Oh, haha x'D Okay, I just wasn't sure what you were getting at I see lies in the same way as I see cheating in a board-game (or the likes). Even though you win and reap the reward(s) you sought, the reward(s) will never feel as good upon being achieved as they would have been if you had won in a legitimate manner. I also think that small lies breed bigger lies in the sense that if you pull off a small one you'll get bolder and bolder and the depth of your lies will escalate until they finally reach a point at which even the bluntest crayon in the box can see through them. I'm speaking from personal experience when I write this mind you - I know how it is to get caught in a world of lies. Eventually you'll be lying your way out of another lie until you can no longer even remember which things have really happened to you. Yeah... I'm starting on a bit of a tangion I feel so I might as well just stop myself here. tl;dr version: Lies are bad and don't hold in the long-run. |
