| Post subject: | any job ideeas? |
Ok, so I am moving to London in a few weeks and I want to find a job that is interesting but the problem is that I am from Romania and can't legally get a good job ... so does anyone have any ideeas on what job I can get there that isn't boring as working in restaurants washing dishes and stuff ... because that would really hurt my game and my pockets at the same time also I'm not in a financial position to start my own business .. it would be awesome to work in a pub or something but I think that would be hard to find ... any ideeas would be welcome but know that I don't have any kind of degrees and stuff I'm only 20yo. |

Why can't you legally get a good job? Surely you'll be here legally? Well, what are you passionate about? What would you really like to do? Also, what qualifications you got? |

wolf101 ... I don't understand what you mean by that, probably just making fun of my situation .. whatever .. Mike Lowrey ... what I mean is I need a work visa in order to work in the UK, I can live there as long as I want because Romania is part of the EEA [European Economic Area] but I can't work unless I have a visa. What am I passionate about? Working with people ... that's what I would really like to do As for qualifications ... I don't have any. Thank you. |

A job in a pub is not only what you mentioned but it also fits your passion... and depending where, your qualifications as well. I'm not sure how it works where you are, but in most places near me (USA) you only have to be 18 to be a bartender and they will give you all the training you need when once you get hired.
As for qualifications ... I don't have any. |

yes that would be nice, but considering my situation I think it would be very difficult to find a job like that. I am willing to go from pub to pub asking every owner .. manager if they have a spot as a bartender ... if anyone has experience with this kinds of situations .. any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you. |

yeah I can get a blue card by marrying someone from England or taking a 1 year contract from Romania with minimum wage and god knows what conditions ... I can get a self-employed card and a NI within a month of my arrival and that's gonna help things a bit. Thank you and I still look forward to your ideeas. |

Night club bouncer or private security guard. If you could be bothered to take a few courses I guess paramedic or fireman is some alternatives. |
