If you're anything like me, and I'm rather certain you are, then you too will share the thoughts I write here. Have you ever felt like you could do amazing things, whether it's getting the girl, persuading an employer, or simply having a devilish charm that attracts to you what you most desire? And yet. Something is keeping you from living as this Magnificent 'character' - your True Self, instead of the frightened, ingenuine creature we live as day to day? For me the current challenge to becoming who I was destined to be, my True/Genuine self is a feeling of overwhelm. I believe that we can have and do anything, but what keeps most of us from it is a lack of knowledge. And when we finally do decide to get off that metaphorical couch and take the initiative to pursue what we most desire, we learn that there's so much to learn, it feels... Hopeless. I'm not saying you stop believing it's possible, oh no. You're fully aware you can have 'It', but despite going at it every day, it continues to feel like the amount of knowledge we have to acquire is beyond our comprehension. Now do keep in mind, I'm not merely talking of having an average, or good life. I'm talking of a Great one. And knowing that there's but one thing keeping you from accessing it, is heart breaking. What do you propose I. We. Do to get past this feeling of 'Overwhelm' and pierce through it like a True Spartan would?! No idea is without meaning, and every single one I will appreciate dearly. What do you say, allies? |

Obtaining the knowledge is necessary, but a person needs to find someone or something that fits their gut and then ride that out to the full (no skimming, no shortcuts) in order to gain a real depth of understanding on the narrow yet crucial subject matter that fits with the person's goals. I'm talking about reading every fucking word of a book, going through every fucking section of a training, word for word, devouring it, taking notes on it, going over certain sections again, going over the notes over and over again with the full intent of actually putting it to use. The vast majority of people only read the first chapter or two of a book they purchase, if that. If a person is to succeed it is imperative to not be like the average and to take their goals seriously; that means actually investing the time to learn. However ONCE THE KNOWLEDGE HAS BEEN ACQUIRED THE REAL TEST BEGINS. Can a person then shed a good amount of their past limiting beliefs, a good amount of their past programmings by society etc and truly take action on the things THEY KNOW THEY COULD BE AND SHOULD BE DOING, or will they stay stuck in past habits. |

I'm kinda the opposite. I really shoot 1st and ask questions later. I just know what I have to do and think what is the minimum required for getting there. I always thought perhaps this kind of method was unorganised and I could be doing much more if you I was more analytical with correct data. I'm reading a book at the moment called " The ten X rule - Grant Cardone" that has clarified a few things for me that I shouldn't change, perhaps make my goals much more ambitious. Check it out. I did skip the part where in told to write my down my goals ironically. |
