I have never done partners dancing and am a bit lost as to what to study. The goal would be to become a great dancer but not make the girl feel out of place and lost should my level of dancing exceed hers. What are some great rudimentary dance styles to learn that will allow a girl, who may be a poor dancer, to follow along and not feel awkward on the dance floor so as to kill the energy between us? My thoughts are salsa or swing. Votes? Best, Jackstay |

Well of course I'm going to say salsa. You can dance salsa street style (basic steps and basic spin) if your partner isn't familiar with it. You can also wow everyone with your moves if your partner knows salsa. So much fun. |
