Lately I've become hooked on changing my room around and all this home improvement stuff. I'm just looking on advice as to what else I can add to it that could fill up space, make it look more like a bachelor pad etc. I'm 21, in college, and still living with my parents in Hawaii (where moving out alone before 25-30 isn't an option) so any major renovation isn't possible. Right now im working on getting a lock for my door, a bunch of small lights with dimmers i can put all over the place, an alcohol/wine rack, and something like a mini water fountain, mist machine, or something I can use an excuse to be like "oh come back to my place and see this thing." http://imgur.com/a/Tymzh#0 first 4 pics are before, next 4 is current. |

Those sound like great ideas. Im also trying to Redecorate my room. Try adding some art work on ur walls? |

Artwork is definitely a major plus - can totally change the dimension of a room and provide a great talking point. Good idea on the lights and dimmers. Just did an article on my blog about a new lightbulb which is out soon - it's a multi colour LED light that can be controlled from your phone. So you can change the colour for different moods etc. Would definitely impress the ladies. http://www.rolllikeboss.com/2013/04/lifx.html You also want to make your bed look as inviting as possible. Nice fluffy duvets and pillows etc - chicks love that stuff! |

Changing bedroom and then decorate it is also an art and many people like to renovate and decorate it with some light paint color scheme and match bedspreads and pillows with room color. |
