Post subject:  A hobby i found

I have noticed that alot of people in this thread are looking for an attractive hobby , i have found one , well not just one i have found a variety of hobbys. I started this hobby last year and i have noticed that my pick up world is now thriving.

I started scuba diving , yes i know , this does not sound like the sort of sport that would attract alot of women , but think of it like this . Your on a beach , your seen with a group of other people = instant ioi , women who generally hang by beaches are mostly atleast hb8 ! during conversation by saying scuba diving alot of girls find it anoither attraction as it is differant and outgoing , infact any type of hobby near the sea is usually an instant ioi . This is caused from the "surfer" stereotype.

Why would you think scuba diving would not be attractive.

Yeah, of course its attractive.

How much does it cost?

I live in Chicago, if I was in Miami I would assume this would be more accessible. How do you scuba dive if you live inland?

This Scuba group, do you take a tour or a class?

yes! i agree scuba diving is an awesome hobby, but it's more of something you'd do to meet people on vacation unless you already live near any good dive sites (which most people don't)
only other downside is that it's quite pricey to get in to

Yeah i agree it is very pricey , but i realised that it calmed me down , it made me feel as though my problems were somewhere else and i always had an escape , i live in a place in england called plymouth i live right near the sea, as i am trained to a dive master i have spent over £2000 on diving equipment and dives! however i understand you can pay for individual scuba trips in alot of places ,

i am not totally sure how much it costs in america but over her an individual trip with all equipment given to you is £15 , however when i found when i talk about diving i find alot of instant ioi's from girls as it is different and i talk with such emphusiasm .
When they show intrest and ask me more about it i play around with them , sometimes i tell them if they are good i might take them with me one day but only if theyre good ;)

Anything that gives you some personality color is going to come off well. IF you are passionate about it even better

Scuba diving sounds awesome, but i'm live inland so it's not really posible for me.
and for my hobby i am enjoying photography, it gives you a lot of new friends since there are lots of photography club or comunity.

I think getting in touch with your artistic side is a good thing. for me it's relaxing and make you apreciate the finer things in life. So try a hobby in the art departement, it doesn't have photography. You can try anything tha suits you best

I became a scuba instructor a few years ago. For roughly $3K you can go from "zero to hero" and be an instructor after only 100 dives, this takes about a year. Once you have this qualification (PADI is the best one) then you can work almost anywhere in the world. It's a really fun culture to be a part of.

And yes, it helps with women!! Especially if you dive overseas where you have an accent. Not to mention it's fucking awesome, Deep/Wreck/Drift are my favourite types of of dives, also using a DPV (Diver Propulsion Vehicle) is a lot of fun, makes you feel like Bond.

Some of the best spots to dive (according to the many divers i've spoken to):
Red Sea, Egypt
Micronesia
Andaman Islands, Thailand
Ningaloo Reef, Australia

Yes also if you have a good setup in the diving world , especially diving with a club , any pictures that are taken , There is a good chance they will end up on facebook , therefore creating something more intresting and differant than many other facebook pages , also any good/ intresting photos i haves saved onto my desktop , when a girl is round their is instant dhv's as i tell her differant stories when going through the photos

This is an awesome hobby!! I'm really jealous. I need to learn how to swim :(

You actually don't need to be able to swim to go diving. All the equipment helps you a lot it's like flying with jetpack.
But you do need to be comfortable in the water and not claustrophobic.

I'm a pretty artsy guy and picked up oil painting about 3 years ago. My friend and I would watch Bob Ross on Sunday mornings because it was light programming that didn't make our hangovers worse and decided to give it a whirl and have since expanded. It sounds and looks difficult but it was actually pretty easy. As an added bonus, I have a lot of really nice, custom art around my place, ladies almost always ask about it when they come over (I keep my easel in my room and showing them the project I'm currently on is a good excuse to get them in there), I've sold several of my works, and it's very relaxing. On the down side, oil paint and brushes can get expensive but I'm not a pro so I just use whatever.

I also do woodworking. Built most of the furniture in my house, a pretty sweet beer pong table with sound activated LEDs and a sound system built in, and frames for my art. It's not only manly, but convenient to have the tools to fix shit when it breaks, or just be able to buy used furniture and repair it for a fraction of the cost of new stuff.
