What do you mean "is up"? She's having a bad day? Oh well not your problem. You don't have to say or do anything.

Don't be like "Aww, what's up?...you can tell me" blah blah. Because you're not her bitch. I'm not saying be a prick, but don't even get on the topic of why she's having a bad day. Instead, make her day better. Talking about why her day is bad isn't going to get her to feel better.

Change subject, happy subjects, Youtube videos etc

This.

Don't go into whats wrong. You're not the shoulder.

IF anything, this would be a good time to meet up/set up a chill date.

Ex. "Lol. Sounds like we need to go for some drinks or food. I might be heading out later. Down?"

If shes replies that shes not down to chill, then shes just looking for someone to vent to through text. I wouldn't even text back.
