Im trying to get my own place to live in. And its such a pain in the ass. Every nice place im interested in on craigslist always requires a stupid facking application fee.. /rant My credit and rental history is still fresh. Not touched. My family members credits is all shit. So noone i know can cosign. Has anyone gone threw this and explain to me the procedure for renting a first apartment? I have a good source of income helping my uncle run a shady ass busines. Btw |

Uhm... maybe for like a year, you could get a roommate? Sign a year lease, get credit that way, and then after a year is up, you have credit. BTW another way I have learned to get credit is to go to the bank and open a very small loan (like a few hundred dollars) and then put the loaned money into a savings account and just start making payments on the loan. This way when the loan is paid, you have improved your credit. You pay a little bit more, I guess, but I would think it'd be better than to have no credit... Keep in mind this is what the financial advisers that would visit us in business class would tell us. |

There are a lot of apartments out there that use your job as your credit you just have to get your uncle aka boss to sign something stating that you work there and make X amount of money. Weather true or not. Then get a friend or family member that will vouch for you as a prevues place of residence so you have renters credit established. Weather true or not. The rest will fall into place hope I helped bro. |
