I am what they call a transitional letter carrier and I feel like 1/3 of mh life is defined as being a total bitch. Like I'm always doing shit work and being bossed around. I think it hurt was last relationship because I couldn't get vacation and my ex was let down by the fact I didn't stand up like a man and bang off. I make good money doing this, but honestly if I could find a better career making less I'd be happy. Most of mh coworkers are also miserable which doesn't help me..constantly cone home in negative moods..total game killer..help! |

first of all don't let your job define you, don't even emphasis your job on a date. I have a good , well paying job with some prestige and I don't even talk about my job anymore on dates. When girls ask I juts say "I help company's with highly complicated technical challenges" When they ask for more specific info I say "not until I know you better, talking about work bores me" The point is talking about your job, and filling int he blanks in a woman s mind, generally lowers your mystic and hurts attraction. This is true even if you have a great job barring Hollywood producer or lead signer for famous rock band. Now your doubling down by telling them about your job, and that it sucks. If you dont like your job they will like it even less. Heres your new game plan, when they ask about your work, and they always do. Say " I'm a liaison that facilitates high level communication". When they want more detail then tell them not now. Your being attractive by drawing a boundry and creating mystery. Dont be a supplicater and answer every question they ask. |

All of our lives suck, one way or another... Imagine how it would be if you didnt have a job. So your girl got disappointed that you couldnt get vacation... so what? You obviously had to work and that brings you cash and security. There are two things in a mans life, things he want to do and things he has to do. Sometimes they dont agree and he has to choose the things he has to do. If she cannot understand that she doesnt seem to be GF material. |

Perfect response, definetely agree with Ezo. If you feel like your job is killing you as you lose your optimism, drive and time maybe she's right. But if not, then she's just bitching around and needs other type of men near her, and you need another time of woman |

Money isn't the end all be all. Many have stepped down from, or left, high-paying positions to seek other positions or employment. You can have an easy job, but it can become difficult if you work around some of the worst people. Conversely, you can have a difficult job, but it can be easier if you work around good people. I just read a quick overview of your position at Glassdoor.com, and it said don't get caught up in employees complaints and issues. If you let those miserable people take you down with them, then you will become one of them. Just as with pickup, be different from the rest. Use what you know in pickup to improve things for you at work. Figure out how to game those who boss you around, and watch how things change. A good read would be Robert Greene's 48 Laws of Power [unabridged] or The Concise 48 Laws of Power [abridged version]. It is a book full of power plays made upon those in power by those who weren't in power. Also, consider you live a dual life. By day, you are the mild-mannered transitional letter carrier. At night, you are a girl-getting pickup machine. "When you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change."-Dr Wayne Dyer from The Power of Intention and Excuses Begone. |
