Currently i'm unemployed, i know lots of women and i can attract them for a short time. i am looking to possibly settle down, however most girls don't see me as boyfried material. i have several close female friends who have all told me it is mostly down to not having a job. I do work and have money available, mainly through odd jobs for friends and through other means which i don't feel able to tell someone without being able to fully trust them. I'm asking about as many tips or hints as possible towards getting a good, stable job and possibly a good career ? |

Dude, don't ask people online what career you should choose. Do something you enjoy. There's countless careers to choose from. Look into what you like to do and try to get a job doing it. |

i'm not looking for peoples advice on what career to take. the career i want to pursue is either the police force or fire service, always has been. currently though my level of fitness would not allow me to join them. I'm asking more along the lines of any tips that would go towards making my search for a job in the meantime more succesful ? |

Simple really, you want to join the police or fire service and your fitness isn't great. Hit the gym! Get in shape! I see that you're from the UK, as am I, and they aren't recruiting in any of these public services so your chances are slim. My dream is to join the police too but gonna have to wait it out until they begin hiring again. |

I agree with Sparrow. If you're at a loss as to what to do in the meantime, find work that you will enjoy. You could also do online work. I've heard some people who earn good money from online work. The key is you have to enjoy it otherwise you won't do well and you won't earn as much. |

In reply to Golddust, I don't know were about in the UK you live, but currently in scotland it appears its still possible to join them going through the special constabulatory route i've recently found out. GinaB I have mostly found the questionaire sites that award only a small amount, if theres anything better you know of i would appreciate any info. if not then its always somewere to start. thanks for the replies so far |
