I went to a little party last night with some of my friends. One girl there clearly took an interest to me. Staring at me, going out of her way to talk to, and things like that. Eventually the people there kind of moved further away from each other so I didn't wanna walk through the 10 people sitting down and clearly sit next to her. Honestly I'd be embarrassed. So yea, she was interested I could tell and then when I get home I add her on facebook, sent her a message about asking for her number. I literally said "Hey, ______ mind if I get your number?". She accepted the friend request but didn't respond. Why do girls clearly show interested and then....not show interested? We've know each other...or know OF each other for a long time so it's not like we just met. I am the first to admit that I did something wrong but can anyone side with me here? These girls are bizzare man |

It happens... But seriously, number closing must be the easiest thing you can do. You should NOT have any problem with number closing? How do I number close? I write their name on my phone and give it to them. Not saying anything. Worked every single time. |

Don't let people cool off. Go for the approach, go for the interaction, go for the #, go for the kiss and go for the fuck when the opportunity is right in front of your face. Leave the electronics for video games. |

if you dont make a move (it can be small like asking for her number but atleast make a move) at the time then for the most part you miss your opportunity. In her head she files you away as either (or worse both) "not interested/interesting" or "not an alpha male" Sheps |

horrible, you go for the number no for the facebook, the best way for me to get the number is this, by the way i would not get a number unless i made out with a girl... But what i do is ask: "where is your phone? she shows me her phone, and i grab it and call my cell phone(i never carry my cell phone with me), then i have her number as a miss number.. #2.- i make her work i got to the bar with her ask the bartender for a pen, i grab a napkin, give him a dollar and i say here(nothing else(: she will automatically grab the pen and she will start writing her number, she hands me the napking and i pretend to through it away, and smile, then put it in my wallet..simple and i make her work(compliance)...I would never ever do facebook with the girl, first i would never tell a girl i just met my real name, second i do not want her or my other girls to know my business, facebook is suicide in so many levels... i do not get it... |

Some are criticizing you for your method -- they may be right, but fuck it, it's too late. What to do now? Three options: (1) Let it go. You wouldn't accidentally not reply to a girl you liked, right? (2) Let it go. Sexual attraction never fades. Saying nothing can't fuck up attraction, only comfort. If there was sexual attraction, it won't fade, and she may write you eventually ... or ... (3) ... Write her in a couple weeks. Maybe you won't want to, because you have new numbers. But if you do, you can message her something like, "I'm out with my guys Wednesday. Wanna grab your girls? We could be matchmakers :)" Or make a party, and make a facebook page, and invite her. Send her a special invite after some people have RSVP'd yes, saying, "Dear phoneless, here's an option for Saturday :)" |

You had your chance and went about it in the opposite way you should have so you got passed over. It's a confidence issue most likely from your side. Although, it is possible you've misread the whole situation. Being collected by a girl on facebook doesn't mean anything. |
