That depends on the environment. If it's a closed social network, like a college campus or workplace, you'll come under heavy social attack and be shut out by others who want to maintain their social proof. Even the lowest-status guys will avoid you like the plague. It becomes exhausting to keep a good state amongst people who are out to destroy it. If it's someone you might never meet again, something so stupid shouldn't be allowed to hold you back. Every time I hear the term, I feel it lose meaning. Everyone's a creeper, from the guy who makes incidental eye contact with her while turning a page to the guy who asks for directions in a hurry. In fact, hesitating in order to avoid "being creepy" will make you appear incongruent or self-conscious, which are "creepy" attributes. |

I disagree, if you have enough confidence and hold a social frame, people will stop calling you creeper and start calling you a player. |

The difference between a creeper and a player (consdiering both are PU read) is fine tuning. A truly attractive and socially adept guy would behave in the right way at the right time, whereas a creeper would do things before they're meant to be done. There's of course the opposite which is a guy who does things too slowly and bores his target out of the set. I think your immediate social circle (work, school, etc...) is too quotidian and too important to sacrifice for PU routines. You need to be kind of like a "Clark Kent" in that sense. Expose your Superman identity only in places that warrant it. By the way, there's nothing wrong with being a creeper at most places. There's absolutely no other way to learn. I guess once you become fine tuned, you can more confidently apply your skills in closer and closer social circles (but then, why would you do that when you have a virtually endless amount of girls you don't know everywhere?) |

Don't fear the creeper by the Blue Balls Cult? You know, I've come across that term or the term creepy on these boards more than I've ever heard women use the term in warranted circumstances. Coincidence? |

Agreed. PUA = good timing, good sense of social appropriateness. Creeper = wanna be PUA with bad timing and poor sense of social approprietness.Best way to avoid being a creeper, is to avoid standing around wondering what to do next. If you have no idea, just relax and laugh with the group, you don't always need to be center of attention at every single moment to still be the Alpha of the group. Guys that don't understand when to let that go for a minute usually wind up lonely that night. |

Being a creeper isn't the worst thing you can be. At least your intentions are clear even if your skills are weak. During my development I've been a creeper before. It's a step up from the worst thing you can be: a coward |
