Post subject:  Can direct natural game be effective in this setting?

Hey guys, I am still pretty amateur when it comes to pick up, still in high school entering senior year.

I started Pick up with canned lines and mystery method, usually practicing on girls in my class or doing social circle game, but I realized that not only was this actually difficult, but it limits my opportunities as well. I became fascinated with direct approaches and started having a feeling that this would be great to approach girls that would otherwise not be in my social circle.

I would combine it with natural game with no canned lines, and just built up my inner game so it can be further improved naturally. My inner game was getting pretty good by the end of the school year, but since summer I have had little practice due to some unfortunate circumstances :( .

So I haven't practiced the new direct, honest game much really, and I was wondering if it would work in this high school setting next year? I do not want to be limited by social circles, and it seemed like it was different and unique to the type of game every other guy uses, but maybe I am wrong?

I was hoping for some advice on how I should carry this out next year, what do you guys think I should do?

Natural game is the perfect game for high school setting. All those routine things are more for clubs ect.

Natural game is the best game for almost all circumstances and because it's natural game, you need confidence more than practice. If you've done it well in the past, you can do it well again.

Yea, but what about using direct game and being upfront? Would it create awkwardness or would it be viewed as being so confident and different from other guys, that it would work?

Obviously I know I would need good body language and tonality and such, but in the setting in High School where everyone is somewhat acquainted, would direct approaches on girls that I 'sorta' know work out?

Yes it would work out provided you have built at least some kind of a rapport with the girl. If you have an identity in the crowd, and the girl knows it, you've already got it going for you. If not, you need to get to know her a little more and let her get to know you a little more. Of course with the main goal in your mind so you're not transfered to the buddy zone. Once she finds you've reached a certain level of comfort and trust with her, you can take a direct shot.

Do you mean I need social proof? I have lots of that to start off with. Or do you mean I shouldn't use direct openers, I should just use direct game later on?

I mean you need to have some kind of acquaintance or understanding or familiarity with the woman before you open. It increases your chances of success. An example would be; you talked to the chick about some random interesting stuff for short duration of time (and flirted in bits and pieces too) and then opened instead of opening straight away.
